WOH! The 'O' Levels are OFFICIALLY OVER! I don't really believe it. And tomorrow's Grad Nite, hmm wonder what it'd be like, hopefully not as crazy as I would think it would be. Haha so much time to do stuff, like soccer... erm... soccer, and... probably more soccer. Haha we'll see. But it's finally over. No more secondary school. Now we're like stuck in the middle eh, not in JC/Poly, not in secondary school anymore. Wow... Haha.
My word of the year:
Vision.
Many explanations. Many uses. Many interpretations.
Many have a first thought of vision as the ability to see. Not a lie... It's a fact. I agree with that interpretation.
But to me... To have great vision, is the ability to spot a pass... Famous players I feel that have superb vision are MOST definitely...
Andreas Pirlo; he's wondeful, he can spot a pass even without looking at it, that's like
"blind vision",
Steven Gerrard; magnificent passer of the ball, he can even spot a pass from his own half like in the game against Bolton last season,
Xabi Alonso; his 50-60 yarder passes to find wingers are just wonderful, how does he see the pass so easily? we'll never know,
Juninho Pernambucano; a really talented stylish Brazilian midfielder, that can not only split open a defence with just one pass, but his freekicks are one of the best as well.
Haha... To have like 1/10 of their vision and ability to spot a pass is already enough for me... It'd be wonderful to be able to make those defence splitting passes and set up others to score. Haha dumb fantasy, maybe.
Anyway, Liverpool travel to Spurs to avenge their defeat against them a couple weeks ago. But this time its in the Carling Cup. Youngsters and Reserve time! Haha... With Steven Gerrard and Robbie Keane definitely not in the squad to face Harry Redknapp's rejuventated side, here's the team I would like to see go out and show that they are as good as Arsene Wenger's youngsters:
Cavalieri; Degen, Hyypia, Agger, Insua; Pennant, Plessis, Alonso, Babel; Torres, N'Gog; subs: Martin (GK);
Darby, Arbeloa/Dossena;
Spearing, Lucas; Benayoun,
Nemeth. The players in
ORANGE, I feel, should really have a game, even from the bench. Jay Spearing and Stephen Darby are homegrown academy players, and they should have a chance to show what they've got, and NOT JUST SOLD WHEN THEY'RE 21! Kristian Nemeth, Hungarian national, should also have a chance to step up from the reserves to play in this Carling Cup tie. He could come on for Torres like after 60-70 minutes, hopefully with a comfortable lead.
C'mon Reds!
Everyone's a hero. Everyone's a star..............
Bye~!
