Wow... This lightnings are pretty amazing and spectacular. So many at once and purple in colour. So yeah... I hope tonight's football MATCH-UPS! are as good.
Man Utd vs Man City - The most famous club vs the world's richest club. Which side of Manchester will win this derby?
Chelsea vs Arsenal - A club on form vs a club in crisis. Well, form is thrown out of the window here! C'mon Arsenal!
The likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney, Robinho, Shaun Wright-Phillips, Cesc Fabregas, Nicolas Anelka... And the list goes on.
Football marathon!
Haha...

...I am still hoping that I'll get a it.
If not, it's all quits for me. That's a promise I'm made for myself. It's like... Until then.. adios!
I just hope, continue hoping... That one day that might come
Like how many people said, "Better late than never!"
But I still.. haven't found what I'm looking for
...I know deep down, I feel kinda stupid. Immature, naïve, and will have to let go soon and let loose, on both of 'em.
I'm also hoping what I currently hold dear, and what I have now, will not disappear by my own conscious wrongdoing.
I really hope I don't regret having said that I would never choose what I want, over what I have been treasuring for so long. And I hope I am agreed with.
And I also hope forgetting wasn't, isn't, and never will be an option, no matter what.
Sometimes.. you can't make it.. on your own...
With or without you...
...That isn't an option I would take. Nor would I want to.

The times of cracking (sometimes kinda sick) jokes with Mr F... The days of taking A and E Maths mock tests, as demanded by Mdm E... The many jokes we cracked about Mr Y, and, who could not remember thependulum? The many cold jokes that Mr TJH said, that were, somehow, pretty funny... The oh so hilarious and interesting History classes under Ms K, especially the remedials at the LT... The funny side we found whenever Ms T said something along the lines of not wanting to ''harm'' us...
Haha... Well, it's no more now... Sadly... But how we made life interesting, was really.. interesting. How we made jokes out of simple stuff, ie the pendulum, is really genius of us. I just can't think of any other year I had laughed this much, during what was to be a really mundane year.
Woots..

So, Manchester United and Villarreal progress after a 0-0 draw in Spain, that gave each the point they required. Cristiano Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney both played, with youngster Darron Gibson coming on late for almost-namesake Darren Feltcher on the 80th minute. Who gets top spot will go down to the final match-day, with Rooney and Co. taking on Aalborg at Old Trafford, with Villarreal dueling with Celtic. Now who would bet against United NOT taking top spot?
Arsenal's bad week was given a little lift with a last gasp win over Dynamo Kiev which booked their spot in the last 16 as well. New skipper Cesc Fabregas, Robin van Persie both involved in the move that set up Nicklas Bendtner for the last winner at the Emirates.
Danish giants Aalborg and FC Porto recorded 2-1 wins each against Celtic and Fenebarche respectively, with Aalborg all but sealing a UEFA Cup spot, and FC Porto very much with a shot at qualifying along with Arsenal.
Captain marvel and legend Raul Gonzalez gave Real Madrid a 9th minute lead they kept till the final whistle, to allow them to join group leaders Juventus in the last 16. It was kinda funny to see Schuster bring off Raul AND Saviola in the final minutes of the game, like preserving them and taking them off the firing line, with Ruud van Nistelrooy already out for the rest of the season. Forward Alberto Bueno and Javi Garcia came off the bench and took their places.
Juventus and Zenit St Petersberg held each other to a 0-0 draw in snowy Russia.
Lyon and Bayern have all but booked their spot in the last 16 with wins over Fiorentina and Steaua respectively. Miroslav Klose (2) and Luca Toni were amongst the goals in a 3-0 drubbing over Steaua, and Karim Benzema scored the winner in the Lyon-Fiorentina game.
So tomorrow morning is Liverpool's turn against Marseille at Anfield, with revenge in the minds of the Reds', following a late winner by Marseille at Anfield a year ago at the same stage of the competition. Rafa will put out a strong line-up, with a win guaranteeing them a spot in the last 16 and a great chance of leapfrogging Athletico Madrid and claiming top spot, especially if Athletico drop points against PSV in the other game. Rafa's possible line-up: Reina; Arbeloa, Carragher, Agger, Aurelio (please. please, don't play Dossena anymore... put Insua as understudy for Aurelio. please.); Kuyt, Alonso, Mascherano, Riera; Gerrard (C); Torres. Subs (in order on the chances of coming on): Babel, Keane, El Zhar, Benayoun, Hyypia, Lucas, Dossena, Cavalieri.
C'mon!!!!
Finally a video, a song I just stumbled upon on my iTunes.

Check these concept phone designs out...
This is taken from a design of a plywood. A nice new way of having your handphone camera pop out like that. Pretty neat.
I really like the design of this leaf-like phone design from Siemens Mobile. The colour combination of green and white looks pretty refreshing. The seemless design of it all just complements the colours as well.
pictures taken from Toxel.com
And this phone design is just the pick of the lot. A phone that can bend and fold? I think that's pretty unique and very different but that would be kinda hard to create, don't you think? The internal is just too thin, how's all the mechanisms and systems going to fit, even if they are pretty tiny now. Haha, but would be real nice if it's in the market in the future. Here's a video of it, made by the designer of this phone himself.

Beyonce - If I Were A Boy (MV)
This song is really nice, and the MV, in some sense, is quite funny.
And some Katy Perry lives, she doesn't excel it, but it doesn't suck too bad as well.
Waking Up In Vegas
One Of The Boys
Hot N' Cold
I just don't know why, but she does not sing this as well as the other lives. Stick to the studio version, must be really edited.
Pink - So What (Live)
I didn't really like this song at first, but now, I really love it. Another of Pink's 'rebellious' song. Nice nice... This was at the EMAs, this year, at LIVERPOOL. Haha...
And lastly... Leona Lewis live on Jimmy Kemmel, singing Better In Time.
What a voice, she has. I really love it... And she looks great as well.
So to more 'serious' business, FOOTBALL/fusbal/futbol... Liverpool take on Fulham at home tomorrow night, and so finally. After two weeks of 1.25am, it's at 10.55pm now! Yeah..
With no Stevie G, and a return to scoring ways of Fernando Torres as he bagged a goal for Spain midweek, I think Rafa will take the chance, against decent on-form opposition like Fulham, to continue to allow Robbie Keane and Torres gel. And that would also allow Javier Mascherano and Xabi Alonso to continue in midfield. Yossi Benayoun should be given his rare chance on the right, with Albert Riera on the other side, resting Dirk Kuyt, and bringing on Ryan Babel in the second half. The back five should continue, with Fabio Aurelio on the left. Subs: Cavalieri; Insua, Hyypia; Lucas; Babel, El Zhar; Kuyt.
Kk... Hope you enjoyed the vids.

WOOHOO!
My class' chalet for 2008 isn't really in 2008. It's in 2009!!! 2nd January to be more precised. Wow... So much for the Class of 2008. Anyway... iMedia chalet is on 17th and 18th, with the infamous and really dubious 19th being hotly debated and argued about... Well it's not that we're not staying till 19th, it's that...

So the many international friendlies were played last night, with the latest result being that Brazil, led by Kaka, Robinho and Luis Fabiano, THRASHED Portugal, with Cristiano Ronaldo, Simao Sabrosa and Nani as their attacking triangle,6-2. A hat-trick from Luis Fabiano, two from City's Elano, with one of them an absolute scorcher, and one each for Maicon and Adriano, with Simao and Danny giving the Portugese some face back.
England won in Berlin against their rivals, Germany (unified). England, like Germany, were depleted with several first-team players watching from home, but the Three Lions still won the game 2-1, thanks to a goal each from their two centre-backs, John Terry and Matthew Upson. Gabbi Agbonlahor, Wayne Bridge, Darren Bent, David James (one half only), and Upson had decent games, nothing fantastic, nothing wrong either. SWP only came to life in the second half when he was pushed up top after Ashley Young came on as a sub, and hit the post with a wonderful effort. A mix-up between skipper JT and second-half 'keeper Scott Carson led to Germany's Patrick Helmes grabbing his first international goal.
Seriously, other than set-pieces, Stewart Downing can't cross a ball in open play, he really needs to work on that.
And a quick look at the Reds' in action for the countries...
Xabi Alonso and Albert Riera started for Spain against Chile, with Fernando Torres, Pepe Reina and Alvaro Arbeloa as second-half subs. Torres scored one in a simple win for Spain, 3-0 it finished.
Ryan Babel and Dirk Kuyt started for Netherlands as they beat Sweden 3-1, with Kuyt getting on the scoresheet very late in the game. Babel was also taken off in the second-half.
Javier Mascherano skippered Argentina, under Diego Maradona for the first time, to a 1-0 win over Scotland at Hampden Park.

So... The 'O's had ended for me a couple weeks ago? Or one? Haha lost track... Hmm since then, what a mixture of boredom and fun. A real HUGE change in lifestyle since the end of the 'O's. From mugging everyday, knowing the QA for Chemistry, the 50+ essays for History, and jamming in last minute information for Geography and Social Studies, its now been just pure slacking.
I must give out a huge thanks to...
Mr TJH - for saving my Chem to a certain extent. Rock on Spurs! Mr (T) F - for giving me and everyone else two lessons a week of slackiness meaningful teachings. oops... Stop being neutral... Mdm EAH - for the melamine-filled M&Ms and for the wonderful experience of learning Maths! Mrs L - for saving my English after the horrendous Sec 3 lessons. Mdm WML (黄老师) - for the crazy Chinese lessons, even though I only got a B3.
And also to...
Ms TLC - for the Geog notes. Mr EY - for the Saturday classes. Mr (B) Y (杨老师) - for the Sec 3 lessons. Mrs AT - for the Maths lesson in Sec 3. Mr TA - for the hilarious, humorous and really funny Chem classes in Term 3. Mr LT - for screwing up my (our) English in Sec 3. no grudges though. Ms TSW - for teaching Chem in Sec 3. Mr KP - for teaching us SS during our final lap of our 'O's.
And lastly, not never to forget,
Ms AK - for being a wonderful form teacher, a really knowledgeable History teacher, and also for the times when you made us (the whole class) laugh, and cry too. =)
I will always remember them... And whatever result in January, I'll still definitely owe them a lot. This year, along with Sec 3, is probably the time I have laughed the most in class, and yet enjoyed and learnt along the way as well.
Hmm I really love this picture. Check it out...picture courtesy of Toxel.com
Like what Toxel.com said, "Competitive advertisement at its best". I mean, who could have thought of that? Haha... It's like suaning your biggest and fiercest rivals in your industry.
And so England take on Germany away on Thursday morning, without captain John Terry, vice-captain Stevie G, United trio Rio Ferdinand, Wes Brown and Wayne Rooney, Frank Lampard, Emile Heskey, Ashley and Joe Cole, so that's almost a whole team out.
And in their place are the likes of international noobies like Villa trio Curtis Davies, Ashley Young and Gabbi Agbonlahor, Fulham's Jimmy Bullard, the likes of recalled internationals like Blackburn's Paul Robinson, City's Micah Richards, West Ham's Scott Parker, Boro's Stewart Downing, and Spurs' Darren Bent.
However, the one that causes the most shock is Chelsea's young defender Michael Mancienne, on-loan at Wolves, and playing so well he got a call. But I doubt he'll play, maybe just for a look from Capello and the experience of training with the national team.
In any case, here's my most probably squad... D James; G Johnson, M Richards, M Upson, W Bridge; S Wright-Phillips, M Carrick, G Barry, A Young; P Crouch, G Agbonlahor. I think the supposed two lucky young ones that would play is Ashley Young and Gabbi Agbonlahor, they have just been in great form.
Probably subs that would come on are... P Robinson or S Carson in the second half, C Davies and J Lescott for the defensive positions, but I'd be really shocked and maybe pleased if M Mancienne steps on to the turf in the second period. J Bullard, he has to play a part right, since he's been in the squad for a second time; S Parker, check out what he has to offer defensively; S Downing, see if he's improved; T Walcott, let him continue to gain international experience against top-class opposition. For the forward line, D Bent, since he's been scoring lots for Spurs and if he doesn't start, same goes to J Defoe who has been in decent form for Pompey.
Hmm... Germany will play a strong squad I guess, C'mon Three Lions!

The majority of the fields in Singapore, are...
.. .. .. .. .. .. ..
Shit.
So, you could say, the football fields in Singapore are equivalent to a Dossena.
I mean seriously, look at the patches of crap we have to suffer with around the whole place in Singapore. "State land" posted everywhere, then you see some HDB flat springing up again. All that is left of the pitches is tall grasses, muddy SHIT holes for you to step into and give your shoe a shit bath. Zz... Can't they invest in some money into building up some football pitches here and there in Singapore, the more the merrier? I mean, even the Community Centres (CCs), have shit fields.
Why is it so difficult to do this? Maintain the grass and everything, give us a nice environment to play football in. You go see in Britain, they have random football fields of all sizes, fitted with two nice whitey goalposts, here and there, andEVERYWHERE. No wonder they have one of the best league's in the world, and have a team that CAN make the WC Finals. Don't say Singapore has a small population blah blah, if there's facilities, kids with so much free time will go use 'em, and have so much fun, and eventually be tapped upon in the future.
Zz...

So... There was the girl that was not cute enough for the opening ceremony of the Olympics, then the supposed under-aged Gold medal gymnasts, and the various dairy products that was filled with deadly melamine, and so when we haven't got enough of it, another conspiracy has surfaced yet again. This time...
China faked their spacewalk.
If you ask me, some of the evidence presented in this video, really shows that China isn't really good at concealing their supposed wrongdoings during their famous Spacewalk, that supposedly put China in almost the same level as the once-mighty USSR (now Russia), and the still-dominating USA.
Did they? Or was this another West vs East kinda thing? This video claims that the Spacewalk was indeed a nice swim in a uber-large swimming pool. Hmmm...

WOH! The 'O' Levels are OFFICIALLY OVER! I don't really believe it. And tomorrow's Grad Nite, hmm wonder what it'd be like, hopefully not as crazy as I would think it would be. Haha so much time to do stuff, like soccer... erm... soccer, and... probably more soccer. Haha we'll see. But it's finally over. No more secondary school. Now we're like stuck in the middle eh, not in JC/Poly, not in secondary school anymore. Wow... Haha.
My word of the year: Vision.
Many explanations. Many uses. Many interpretations.
Many have a first thought of vision as the ability to see. Not a lie... It's a fact. I agree with that interpretation.
But to me... To have great vision, is the ability to spot a pass... Famous players I feel that have superb vision are MOST definitely... Andreas Pirlo; he's wondeful, he can spot a pass even without looking at it, that's like "blind vision",
Steven Gerrard; magnificent passer of the ball, he can even spot a pass from his own half like in the game against Bolton last season,
Xabi Alonso; his 50-60 yarder passes to find wingers are just wonderful, how does he see the pass so easily? we'll never know,
Juninho Pernambucano; a really talented stylish Brazilian midfielder, that can not only split open a defence with just one pass, but his freekicks are one of the best as well.
Haha... To have like 1/10 of their vision and ability to spot a pass is already enough for me... It'd be wonderful to be able to make those defence splitting passes and set up others to score. Haha dumb fantasy, maybe.
Anyway, Liverpool travel to Spurs to avenge their defeat against them a couple weeks ago. But this time its in the Carling Cup. Youngsters and Reserve time! Haha... With Steven Gerrard and Robbie Keane definitely not in the squad to face Harry Redknapp's rejuventated side, here's the team I would like to see go out and show that they are as good as Arsene Wenger's youngsters: Cavalieri; Degen, Hyypia, Agger, Insua; Pennant, Plessis, Alonso, Babel; Torres, N'Gog; subs: Martin (GK); Darby, Arbeloa/Dossena; Spearing, Lucas; Benayoun, Nemeth. The players in ORANGE, I feel, should really have a game, even from the bench. Jay Spearing and Stephen Darby are homegrown academy players, and they should have a chance to show what they've got, and NOT JUST SOLD WHEN THEY'RE 21! Kristian Nemeth, Hungarian national, should also have a chance to step up from the reserves to play in this Carling Cup tie. He could come on for Torres like after 60-70 minutes, hopefully with a comfortable lead.
C'mon Reds!
Everyone's a hero. Everyone's a star..............

Another awesome two nights of Champions League. It was Match-Day Five in Europe this midweek, and English clubs were struggling, really badly.
-
Liverpool needed a Steven Gerrard penalty in the third minute of second-half stoppage time to salvage a draw and stay level on points with Athletico Madrid at the top of Group D. Wow... Gerrard certainly had a lot of composure to slot that penalty in so well. In front of the Kop as well, with like thousands of eye looking down at you, you must certainly feel the heat, yeah?
Chelsea got ripped by Roma and more specifically Mirko Vucinic. A wonderful worked move that started off with a freekick towards the right to Cicinho, who delivered a wonderful cross into the box, and only Cristian Panucci took the initiative and attacked the ball to score, unopposed. Vucinic handed Cech a wonderful strike in the second half, and his solo effort after robbing Jon Obi Mikel was one to remember as well.
Arsenal... With their young midfiel quartet of Fabregas, Ramsey, Denilson and Nasri, could not find a way past Fenerbache at the Emirates. They are really having problems now, especially if you have to put in Nicklas Bendter and only have young hotshot Carlos Vela on the bench for you. 0-0 it finished.
Man Utd needed a 83th minute Ryan Giggs goal to secure a draw at Hampden Park against Celtic. Woots I heard some Scott McDonald wonder strike got Celtic a 13th minute lead and after that they played a 5-5-0 formation? OR was it 7-3-0? They were nuts, so many defenders, yet one did not close down Cristiano Ronaldo sufficiently, as he took his piledriver towards Artur Boruc.
-
Congrats to Anorthosis Famagusta on their magnificent 3-3 draw with Inter at home. Well to be fair almost all the goals were mistakes.
Well this week's Champions League player of the week has to go to Alessandro Del Piero. His brace against Real Madrid allowed Claudio Ranieri's Juventus side to do the double over Real. Del Piero even added onto his one goal he scored against Real at the San Siro two weeks ago. Well done. Well no such accolades for Real's 'shitty' defence. They could really do with Juventus' Momo Sissoko sitting in front of Heinze and Cannavaro. Just a thought though. =)
The thing about Real Madrid is that they spent an aweful too much on their strikeforce. Why have three similar midfielders, in Guti Hernandez, Wesley Sneijder and Rafael van der Vaart? And neglect getting a proper right winger and another winger to give Ramos some cover in front of him and add some depth in the squad...
And the worse player of this week's Champions League has to go to Inter Milan's Niclas Burdisso. Two errors, that really would make any defender laugh. One miscomm-then-header towards keeper went awefully wrong. And when you see the highlights as the Anorthosis striker reins down on the open goal to score, you could just see Julio Cesar just whining at Burdisso and not even caring about the stiker no more. AND... Whichever defender heads a cross towards a striker's body, instead of just THUMPING IT CLEAR? C'mon...
-
Haha... Less than a week left.
Bye~! Off to complete some MCQs.

Katy Perry - Hot N' Cold
Whose this Katy Perry? Hmm this song is a lil stupid but it has a good beat to it. Haha...
Now all these singers that use Youtube to gain recognition, are actually pretty good. One here is Esmee Denters. Never heard of her before, just searched only, and she's not bad lah.
This one's pretty nice as well. Ana Free singing To Be With You.
Haha... Some nice music. 'O's to be over pretty soon! Champions League to look forward to in a couple of days.
