I wanna go watch Singapore play group leaders Uzbekistan on Monday evening. It's a World Cup Fourth Round Qualifying match.
If S'pore are one of the top two of this four team group, they'll advance to the World Cup Qualifying FIFTH Round, and last too. The teams that are in this round, in which S'pore might be, will be split up into two groups of five. The top two of this two groups, in which four countries, will go through to the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. And the third placed team from each group will play-off with each other. Whoever wins still DOESN'T go to the World Cup, just yet... They'll have to play the winner of the Oceania continent, and win to go through. Interesting stuff eh.
So yeah... I wanna catch Singapore in action at the National Stadium... Any interested parties? I'm not sure whether there would be seats or if it'd be a long queue buying the tix on the spot.
"6+5" Rule... Nice on UEFA...

WTF?
So after three years of sitting back, not caring a lot, but still got care, I am getting back shit for this last year. Hmm..? So I'm given this %&#@ing position, yeah... granted, it's my highest, and even then, it's actually just a shoddy, "assisting" position. Ok, I don't mind, really. I EMBRACE this role I am given, like I always do. I've always done all the shit everyone gives me. I do the running if you want me to. I bring shit that you need, cause apparently, I'm always the free and not needed one around. Ok, granted I don't look busy, but no one gives me shit to do. Ok, sometimes I screw up, but don't you give the person a chance to learn, gain some frickin' experience? I just do what I'm asked to do, almost sounding like a %&#@ing dog, but I do it with a smile, a smirk at most. And I always make sure I do my best, and make sure its done.
I never mixed around before, always being scared of what would happen. You can't blame me for not going around socializing? I do my minimum tasks, I do it right, I try to do it well. Try. I try to give my all in all that I am given to do. So anything wrong? Of course EVERYTHING is wrong. Everybody's looking for that something extra. I don't give it, sad for me... I wasn't given anything extra, just doing stupid, trivial work.
They say everyone's important. Bullshit. %&#@ing bullshit. I'm not, unfortunately. I'm just one small disposable piece in this huge puzzle, in which maybe, I'm just some string puppet. I'm even lower than some people who are supposedly inferior to me. It's okay, I don't mind that, it's just, show some respect, man...
Okay, so now you give me an extra role. I screw up the first time. SORRY! I'm handling it for the first damn %&#@ing time! The next time, I get the shit jobs, the useless jobs that any %&#@er can do really... Do they care? No... Bring out chairs, how wonderful! I feel it's stupid, I'm off. Get someone else. Get someone else to handle the bullshit I am handling, anyway, it'd be good experience for him won't it? He'll do all the shit I did a couple of years ago... Granted, I didn't do anything to have any chance of being someone better. But I wasn't given the chance.
Then... when there was an empty vacancy, oh... I thought, there'd be no one else right? Well, contrary to MY belief, there was! And he pipped it ahead of me. Wow... Okay, I can't mind right? I mean I'm so trivial, how can I mind? So yeah... Now that I've gone back to my full-time role, the role I was suppose to be fulfilling at the start, I'm not being informed of most things. To be fair I've been inform of one event, but what about the other major ones? No one tells me nuts. Anyway, bullshit. My ideas, thoughts, whatever I have in me, its nothing. Its not important. Why? Well... because, I just haven't been contributing. Because I haven't been given the %&#@ing chance. Now even if you give me the chance, I'll %&#@ off... Why? 'Cause if I screw up, you'll be wtf?-ing at me... I don't want that shit. Give me a break.

MY 2007/08 BPL Team of the Season:
1 David James (Portsmouth)
5 Rio Ferdinand (Man Utd) __ 6 Ricardo Carvalho (Chelsea)
8 Steven Gerrard (Liverpool) ____ 24 Yaya Toure (Barcelona)
7 Cristiano Ronaldo (Man Utd) ________________________________ 19 Lionel Messi (Barcelona)
9 Fernando Torres (Liverpool) ______ 11 Robinho (Real Madrid)
So this are the players that rocked the footballing world for the past year. Portsmouth rise towards the FA Cup and European football next season has to be credited to David James, pulling up fine saves and almost pipping Liverpool's Jose Reina to the Golden Gloves award. Rio Ferdinand was vital to United's cup double, and Ricardo Carvalho was the rock when team-mate John Terry went missing, on and off the pitch. Newcomer Bakary Sagna had a magnificent first season with Arsenal, whilst Patrice Evra's attacking flair earns him a place on the left.
Steven Gerrard inspired Liverpool to a fourth place finish and a semi-final place in the Champions League, while Milan-bound Mathieu Flamini swept up Arsenal's dirty work as Cesc Fabregas grabbed all the glory. How could Cristiano Ronaldo not be in any team of the season? 42 goals in a season, anything else to say? Villa's Ashley Young's performances should give England manager Fabio Capello something to think about him, how about him to Joe Cole on England's left?
Fernando Torres' magnificent first season, complimented with 30+ goals, gives him a place in the team, while Dimitar Berbatov continues to shine in the Spurs side, alongside Robbie Keane.
Real Madrid's trio of Iker Casillas gets the place ahead of James in the worldwide first eleven, as does Sergio Ramos over Sagna and Robinho over Berbatov, all of whom have helped in Madrid's title lift. Barcelona's Yaya Toure and Lionel Messi pips Milan-bound Mathieu Flamini and Villa's Ashley Young respectively.

So after a year and five months of Chinese learning, and with the much dreaded 2 weeks of Chinese Intensive over, it's now up to us to do well in the written paper tomorrow. I know that we can never be totally prepared, but I think I'm 93% ready. Well, the 6% is the forgetfulness that I may have over certain stuff, or the weariness and unclarity I have over certain things. From the inspirational talks and teachings of "Bobby" Yong, to the uselessness of ZXM, to the short spell under MuJun, up till the guidance under HML, it all would help in a long way. If I get an A1, which I really hope I do, although almost impossible - but I'll be positive lum! - it'll be my first A1 in my four years in secondary school, my highest being an A2 only. Quite a time to get your first A1, isn't it? Haha...
Thanks to everyone's well-wishes and good lucks, and I hope I'll be able to deliver.

Transfer Talk Time! Haha...
It seems Rafa Benitez is sick of the La Liga market, and he seems to be wanting to raid the Italian window now. News reports are pointing that he is eyeing Italian left-back Andrea Dossena, from Udinese, and defensive midfielder, Marek Hamsik, from Napoli, as probably an alternative to Gareth Barry should Xabi Alonso leave to Italian giants Juventus.
I really think that Rafa is doing a good job so far, in keeping the prices for some players high, and doesn't seem in a rush to sell them. It should be a good strategy, as teams might start being too rushy and bid high. He needs to sell to buy, so that could by why. But on the other hand, he's quite satisfied with his squad so far, adding one or two, and isn't in a rush to buy either.
Philippe Degen and Steve Finnan are sure to compete to occupy the right-back spot. Fabio Aurelio and probably Dossena will fill the left-back spot, with Alvaro Arbeloa capable of going anywhere in defence. Emiliano Insua is also in the wings for the left-back spot, so there are more than enough, except for maybe if Finnan slowly fades out in the season, or maybe Degen and the possible signing Dossena don't live up to expectations, only then Arbeloa and Aurelio look capable of being consistent first choice should they be injury-free.
Rafa prices Peter Crouch at £15 million, but I feel he realistically knows that Crouch is at most £12 million, really at £10 million; Xabi Alonso at £16 million, but a million less should be reasonable, I feel; goalkeeper Scott Carson at £10 million, however the price is really only around £6 million, at most £8 million if Martin O'Neill is desperate; lefty John Arne Riise at £6 million I think, and it is quite reasonable for the likes of Newcastle or Aston Villa. If he manages to sell all of the above, he should get around less than £40 million in sales, pretty fine to me.
Liverpool's current targets are veteran goalkeeper Maik Taylor, presumably to sit on the bench and to train David Martin. Andrea Dossena and Marek Hamsik. Gareth Barry to give Liverpool versatility on the left flank. They also really need a better winger, or two, and one more striker will do it, should Crouch and Andriy Voronin leave. I also feel the players that can step up are Kristian Nemeth, Damien Plessis, Insua, but sparingly, not too often though.

I just realise somethings that I should have taken when I had the chance. Two weeks was all I had with one chance, and left it behind due to peer influences. I don't blame them, I blame my lack of will and to shut out those 'voices'. Now, it's not only in my head that I am feeling the pain, the regret, but I am also seeing it on paper, and now I struggle. What foolish and childish thinking I had then.
I need a time machine.
The signs were all there for me. I was kept receiving hints, or that's what I felt had happened, but I wasn't on the same wavelength, hadn't had much balls, and now, I'm regretting not doing anything. I can only do all these limited stuff and feel bad about it, but what's the use now? I can't do anything else. Only a miracle can save it. Why? I should have just done something... =( It's so wrong now...
It's just been a waste. Seeing others run pass me in this marathon is quite disheartening, but I slowed down on my own accord, not anyone others. I tried to slow others down too, luckily, they didn't, but I still feel bad in doing so... I'm just running a losing race. Whoever said Life Is A Marathon & Not A Race. Bullshit. I now know, take everything as it comes, don't leave anything for granted or luck. Nothing. Run life's race, don't take it as a marathon...

The 2007/08 Champions League Final comes to a close in just less than 30 hours time, with the same two teams which competed for the English Premiership title on the final day, also in this final. Manchester United and Chelsea will do battle for that exclusive trophy, argh... I'm pissed. Man Utd can win it for the third time in their history, whilst Chelsea are just in their first final... That's why most say Chelsea have no history. =)
These are the probable line-ups for both teams, and their substitutes:
Manchester United 1 van der Sar - definite first choice, Kuzszcak suck... 6 Brown - a little bit hard on him if Neville came straight back right? 5 Ferdinand - solid, composed... 15 Vidic - towering presence, what about the recent injuries? 3 Evra - fast, quick, offensive-minded, yet equally defensive 7 C. Ronaldo - what else do i need to say? 16 Carrick - pass master on his day, his days are rare though ; ) 18 Scholes - confirmed place, to make up for '99 4 Hargreaves - to protect the back four and Scholes himself... 11 Giggs (C) - 759 appearances to beat Sir Bobby Charlton's record... 32 Tevez - a small one to lead the line compared to Chelsea's Drogba
Probable Subs: 10 Rooney, if he is deemed fit for the bench, he is sure to come on. 17 Nani, to add attacking flair if needed or just to come on for the tired Giggs. 24 Fletcher, for Scholes if he is tired or to add much work rate. 22 O'Shea, add some defensive presence. 13 Park, all the matches he has played this season, United have won, other than that, he is still has much to offer.
Chelsea 1 Cech - definite starter 5 Essien - Belletti and Ferreira would feel insulted, but Essien is the best option for right back 6 Carvalho - fast, alert... 26 Terry (C) - leader, great headerer of the ball, Tevez won't win any aerial battles 3 A. Cole - quick, offensive-minded, a la Evra 13 Ballack - huge midfield presence, great at attacking headers and defensive duties 4 Makelele - sitting in the hole has been his livelihood, needs to shut Scholes up though... 8 Lampard - his runs into the box will cause chaos for Hargreaves and gang... 10 J. Cole - tricky fella, he will give the United full-backs a runaround on his day... 11 Drogba - Vidic and Ferdinand will both need to climb above him to stop him 21 Kalou - unpredictable, but definitely better than Malouda
Probable Subs: 7 Shevchenko, what's the odds of him scoring the winning goal from the bench? 12 Obi Mikel, 'heightier' compared to Makelele. 24 Wright-Phillips, über fast if you ask me. 35 Belletti, defensive cover if needed. 33 Anelka, powerful on his day, could force one inside van der Sar.
SO this are the two teams I think will be brought out. Good luck Avram Grant and Alex Ferguson. No prizes to who will win, very unpredictable. Whoever plays well, won't necessarily win... Luck will definitely be needed in this one. Other information is that this referee, apparently Chelsea's bogey ref, is the man chosen to blow the kick-off whistle during this glamorous game.
Matters outside the CL Final, not football, Chelsea apparently owe £578 million to owner Abramovich. C'mon man, recall those loans now?! And that Rafa Benitez have finally signed his first player, not Gareth Barry unfortunately, but another free transfer from Germany, Philipp Degen on a free transfer. He's a right back, and I hope he turns out half as good as what Andriy Voronin has brought to the club so far. Then he would be a bargain, if you asked me...
Can't wait for the final! Bye~!

So... After under a year and five months of upper secondary normal Chinese, in which I had a change of 4 Chinese teachers, its just one week, or under seven days, to the first Chinese 'O' Levels attempt. Hmm... No stress, no... =)
Haha... Just got to hear the real lyrics of You'll Never Walk Alone, or YNWA... If you know me well enough, you'll know what that means. =) So check out this two versions. One by the 'professional' singers, haha... Gerry and the Pacemakers, who the hell named them? Lol...
Now here this version from the Anfield faithful. 40,000 people, with maybe almost around 39,999 of them not really musically inclined, singing/shouting/screaming YNWA.
Seeing those Chelsea fans shouting their ass off, but not hearing nuts from them, really is something special... Haha, 'outvoiced' by the Reds' fans. And seeing George Gillett singing YNWA is something... Somehow... I like the second one better. =)

You don't need to be so tall to header the ball well. Just ask Teddy Sheringham. You don't need a huge presence to control the midfield well. Just ask Mathieu Flamini and Javier Mascherano. Having long legs doesn't mean you can't control the ball well. Just ask Peter Crouch. You don't need to be big to finish well. Just ask Michael Owen.
You don't need to be very intelligent to score well in exams. Just study hard and study smart. You don't need to have long legs to run fast. Just train well and be positive. You don't have to be charismatic to be popular. Just be who you are.
Sometimes... It's difficult to draw the lines between what is needed and what is desired. Maybe... all we need is just to look at ourselves, in order to take the first steps for improving. Not just being envious with what others are given, and just by looking at ourselves, on how to utilize and improve on it, is probably just enough...

Liverpool Season Review: August-September
Friday, May 16, 2008
A good coach is not usually a good manager. I hope that applies for new Liverpool assistant Sammy Lee, returning to Anfield for the second time, I think. He wasn't a really good manager after taking over from Big Sam at Bolton, but he was certainly a good coach at Bolton and in the past with Liverpool, so hopefully, he'll continue what wonders ex-assistant Pako Ayestaran left behind.
And after a trophy-less season for the Red half of Merseyside, not in any sort of finals for the first time under Rafa Benitez, I really think the team has improved since Rafa took over in 2004. The inclusion of Fernando Torres certainly boosted Liverpool's goals tally. The signing of Ryan Babel also boosted the wingers department for Liverpool. However things didn't start well for the new Reds' number nine, missing a penalty that ultimately resulted in a penalty-shootout lost to Portsmouth in the pre-season EPL Asian Cup. Things started brighter for Fernando Torres, scoring on his home debut against Chelsea. With that, he rather instantly attained heroes status, but little did the Reds fans nor Rafa would realise how much he could get at the end of the season. The first game before this Chelsea game was away to Aston Villa, with Liverpool drawing 1-1, Stevie G pulled a trick out of his bag and scored a magnificent free-kick.Fernando Torres continued to score goals, and got a hat-trick against Reading in Liverpool's first game in the League Cup away to Reading. Yossi Benayoun was also on the score sheet that day as a majority of fringe players Liverpool came out 4-2 winners. Liverpool then started their first Champions League away to FC Porto, trailing a goal down early to a Lucho Gonzalez penalty, Dirk Kuyt got a fortunate equaliser, and after Jermaine Pennant got himself sent off, a draw looked like a good result for the Reds. So this is Liverpool's 2007/08 season for the months August and September. They started off pretty well, but just fell off the pace eventually. =(

So another week is going to pass me. Really been reflecting on some of the decisions I've made for the past couple of years, some awfully regretful, some just... well, good decisions? Although I can't remember any of those good decisions. My particular worries are gone now, sy! And yeah, just hope to quickly finish the Chinese 'O' Levels so I can get started on the other subjects entirely. It's just quite difficult each day having 3 hours of intensive in the morning. The English Prelim II are tomorrow, so its going to be as per norm, football after remedial that is after the prelim. But, narrative is going to be the first choice, followed by argumentative I guess. Actually, what the... Why am I caring anyway? Argh... Opportunities, decisions... Part and parcel of what life's about. I've seen many make the wrong ones, hopefully I begin making the right one. =)
The CHMA auditions were a mixed bag. Damn funny ones, just with the whole auditions laughing to The Final Countdown by some Sec4. Unfortunate that lizard couldn't sing properly. P.S. it wasn't the mic fault! Hmm... There were some good ones, the beatboxing, the two who sang a Jason Mraz song, and all the usual emo Chinese ones. So overall it was a good auditions. The Rock Bands auditions on Monday was quite screwed up from my perspective. Didn't even know what's a DI, how to pluck in monojack into amplifiers. I suck, but its not really wholly my fault, well... that is, I only opened the curtains in Sec1, and only brought out the Roland stand and it's pedal and power in Sec3, no one gave me a chance for the experience and know-how. And now it's a little bit too late and pai seh to learn as a Sec4, don't you think?
Congratulations Manchester United and SAF. Good try Chelsea, honestly, they gave it their best shot. Now let the best team win in Moscow. =) So proud for Fernando Torres. No. 9. 30+ goals to his name in his first season, starting with one against Chelsea, Tal Ben Haim and Petr Cech, and ending off with one against Spurs, Michael Dawson, and Radey Cerny. Next season will be tougher, though.
So... bye...

So... Chinese 'O' Levels are in two weeks! My thoughts about that? Well... Good luck. My Chinese isn't good, neither is it very bad, so its kinda average... Oh well, the highest I can get is most probably an A2, so let's see, shall we? Ahh... I don't know whether to hail the next two weeks' intensive Chinese lessons, where with what I heard, it'll be every weekday for the next two weeks following up to the Chinese 'O's, from 7-10am, meaning early mornings for me, and there would be 4-6pm time-slots after school on Monday, Wednesday and Friday for us to attend. Argh... It's going to be shitty, just hope it'd prepare me that tad better. I just wish this would be over. I wanna go see What Happens in Vegas, anyone else interested?
My recent popular tunes have gotta be Bon Jovi's All About Lovin' You and Bounce, as well as Paramore's Crushcrushcrush, and last but not least, the lastest of 'em all, Eric Clapton's Blue Eyes Blue, although that last song is VERY old...
What's my post without a little football eh? Quite nice to play today after the shitty Chinese lesson... It was me, s, sy and r versus jc, sw, gs, kk and a late addition of er. We were outnumbered, as it was 4v5. Do you call that outnumbered, anyway? Haha... So we lost 5-1, but only after er came did the five goals flow pass us. Then after s left gs became our goalkeeper, and I was playmaking and controlling the play. I hope, right... sy? =| Anyways, we won 3-2 or something like that by the odd goal. My passing was quite okay, and the defensive splitting passes I made sure allowed sy quite a number of chances to score, but only took one, not provided by me though. Haha... I was quite unlucky to have squandered quite a few, meself, like when one hit my knee as I snatched it off my own teammate sy, as I tried to lash at it... Shit!
Argh... So yeah... My very last team I would like to see for the last game of the 2007/08 BPL season are Jose Reina, Steve Finnan, Jamie Carragher, Martin Skrtel, Emiliano Insua, Jermaine Pennant, Damien Plessis, Xabi Alonso, Harry Kewell, Steven Gerrard, le capitaine, Fernando Torres. Reina for his 17 or 18th clean sheet! Harry Kewell, I dunno, would he start? Last game, or would Rafa want to give someone else a chance, since he is confirmed leaving. Peter Crouch, I really, really hope he stays, he has so much to offer, especially a very good plan B when Torres is off form, the former should come on for the latter, in what (hopefully not) could be his last game for the club. John Arne Riise could also come on in what could also be his last appearance for the club, although I would love to see Insua get another full run out. Plessis for more experience. I also do not wish Xabi Alonso to leave, even if Gareth Barry does come in. What happened to Sebastian Leto? Lol... Kristian Nemeth and maybe Nabil El Zhar to play some part too, should others miss out?
I can't wait!!! Interesting last moments for this season's BPL...

Why do we have to do some frickin Student Profiling? Let's break down the words, Student Profiling. There's Student, and there's Profiling. So the meaning is really... Profiling a student. So whose job is that? A student's job? Does he profile... HIMSELF? I don't think so. It should be the teachers right? Granted they have 38odd testimonials to do, but... Isn't it part of their job? And... I don't think any OTHER school does this. Really, if there is, please kindly inform me. =)
The suttler side of football. Here's the scenario. It's a 3 on 3 match. Two opponents are bearing down on your goal, you are the goalkeeper. And after a goal mouth scramble, in which those two opponents can't seem to put the ball in, the last shot's missed and wasted. And you suddenly scream your ass off in delight, which is usually because the adrenaline and nervousness builds up, and you just... really... just have to let it out! Haha... Nice...
It'll be the last day of the 2007/08 English Premier League season on Sunday, but the very good thing is, much affairs of the League hasn't been finalised yet! There's the all important and pride-filled title race, yet to be decided whether it'll be heading to Old Trafford or Stamford Bridge. Two clubs, who have yet to be decided to fill up the remaining two relegation places, will join Derby County in the Coca-Cola Championship. The last, probably least important one, is the UEFA Cup spot, to be battled mainly between Aston Villa and Everton. So there'll be at least 8 teams to have something to play for on the last day of the season.
Title Race Wigan or Bolton will be influencial in this one. It's very simple. If Manchester United win, the title is retained. If Chelsea win, they'll have to hope United lose to get back their title. So, good luck to Cristiano and Co., but with all that is said and done, it'll be an interesting end to the title race this season. It was a season that saw Arsenal lose a 5 point lead... And now they're in third quite a way bit behind. And now their midfield lynchpin Mathieu Flamini has left the club for A.C. Milan, for apparently more money. After reading the New Paper's report on all that has happened that lead to this, I really think Flamini should be earning as much as Cesc Fabregas, not to Wenger though.
Race for the UEFA Cup I hate Everton. I really do. They suck. They have built their team on the basis of frustrating better teams. Or let's say, 10 men behind the ball against the likes of SUPERIOR clubs like Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool. Play football, you ain't that bad you know. I hope Aston Villa gets that last spot. But Gareth Barry to Liverpool!
Relegation Dogfight Bye bye Derby County. Welcome to the big time, Stoke City, and welcome back, West Bromwich Albion. Bolton look to be safe. And Birmingham and Reading will most likely go down I guess. Fulham looks good to continue their form and win against Portsmouth, should Harry Redknapp field a weakened team with the FA Cup final in mind.
So yeah... And there's a Tottenham Hotspur vs Liverpool Reserves. That's gonna be exciting to. =) By the way, Stevie G looks good in the new home kit, not Fernando Torres though, his slender shape doesn't really fit this new kit. Haha... It's just a matter of two lines, Adidas and their gimmicks. Heh...
Bye~!

I can just sense everyone's feeling the heat now. We all want to step up our efforts to study, but most of us, like me, can't find theeffort to work harder. Ahh... I know most are feeling the same way, and that our results don't seem to be improving, doesn't it? I just wish there's something to push me harder, and I don't mean that sy. So yeah, hopefully we all can find a way to study more. Well... at least I hope to.
6 months & counting to October...
Now that there's nothing left to play for Liverpool, I've got nothing, yes nothing, to look forward to, just months and months of work and studying. Rafa should know that to, and that the Reds' first-teamers played like so long just four days ago, and would be doubly tired as their morales would have been given a hard hit. =( I really... REALLY would love to see some reserve players play, some of the youngsters Rafa brought into the club. Kristian Nemeth, Damien Plessis, Emiliano Insua and even Jay Spearing should get a chance, even if it's the last 10-20 minutes of the game.
Manchester City is the next game, going to be quite interesting, with several fringe shitties confirm to play. The goalkeeper that starts this game has to be Charles Itandje, there's nothing left to play for, so why not let him prove himself for next season, or get dumped out? Steve Finnan to start ahead of Alvaro Arbeloa. I really don't know who will feature in defence, I think even Mikel San Jose might start, alongside Jamie Carragher or Sami Hyypia. Emiliano Insua might start too, I want him to start! Jermaine Pennant to fill the right wing, Ryan Babel on the left, with Damien Plessis and Lucas Leiva to start in midfield. Peter Crouch and Kristian Nemeth is my pick for the frontline, while Andriy Voronin can just go rot in the reserves, he sucks!
So yeah... 6 out of 6 for the last two games!
Bye~!

The end of the road has dawned for Liverpool Football Club. After conceding in the first half of extra time from a Frank Lampard penalty conversion and a Didier Drogba smash-in, Liverpool were denied a penalty of their own after having Sami Hyypia kicked three times in the penalty box. Ryan Babel sealed a consolation, but... it was that. It was just a consolation. Sigh... Nothing to look forward to until next August, or to support Spain in the Euro 2008. Support the likes of Xabi Alonso, Alvaro Arbeloa, Jose Reina and Fernando Torres!
So congrats Avram Grant. You, indeed are the Special One. It was always Rafa Benitez 2-0 Jose Mourinho, and now in your first try, it's Rafa Benitez 0-1 Avram Grant, not bad, albeit some bit of luck. Ryan Babel's goal was nice. Petr Cech was looking at £30 million flop/goal-line clearer/ex-forward Andriy Shevchenko about to come on when Babel hit his sweet 50 yard shot.
Dejected duo. Steven Gerrard (R) and Jamie Carragher (L) reflecting on what could have been had the penalty been given.
Arsenal for the English Premiership title!!! Am I dreaming? If I am, Arsenal fans are deluding themselves if they have this thinking... =)
