Congratulations to Hull City on their superb comeback victory over Arsenal. Daniel Cousin's headered goal was perfectly placed, but the equaliser from Geovanni was superb, if not magnificent, and left Manuel Almunia with no chance. It's such a joy to see managers pourin out their emotions on the touchline. Just see Hull's Phil Brown yesterday night, he was high! Haha... Hull City are the teamthis season so far.
Well... The team this season in Europe currently is Werder Bremen definitely. After putting five past German giants Bayern Munich, but still conceding to two Tim Borowski goals, they put another five past German fairytale promoted side Hoffenheim.
But this time, Hoffenheim made more work for Bremen in this game, as they scored FOUR to allow for Bremen to score a fifth, the winner, to win the game. 16 goals shared between Bremen and their previous two opponents in their last two games. Wow...
Well, The not-at-the-moment teamSporting Gijon of Spain, they let in 6 from Barcelona, and 7 from Real. How unfortunate.
And Liverpool made the win against Everton look so easy. Everton rarely threatened, and eventually Fernando Torres' industrious work counted for something, TWO GOALS! =)
Firstly, the challenge by Martin Skrtel, in my biased eyes, ISN'T A FOUL! You see... Even as Skrtel went for Yakubu as Jose Reina went for the ball, it was shielding the ball, and it was a coming together of Yakubu. If Yakubu didn't go towards the direction of the ball, he would not have hit Skrtel as Skrtel went in Yakubu's direction to shield the ball. Get it? Great decision from Mike Riley.
Secondly, Tim Cahill's red card wasn't just for the challenge on Xabi Alonso. A yellow was initially for the challenge I think, but the fact he daoed the ref and turned his back for such a long time led the ref to produce another yellow which equals a RED, for breaking the rules in the current Respect campaign. Hmm that's my perspective. AND ALONSO WAS INJURED, WHAT THE HELL WAS THE COMMENTATOR SAYING ABOUT HIM BEING ABLE TO CONTINUE PLAYING UNTIL HE WAS SUBBED OFF. At the touchline he was receiving treatment after that! ARghh...

I know I'll never be good enough. I know I'll never have another chance for a shot at it...
So why am I still thinking about it so much?
What a joke.

So the first week since the results of the Prelim III. Hmm Monday was much of scolding and reminding us of how poorly we did for Prelim III. Well at least I improved my Chem! This week was all about mock papers and revision. Not very surprising though. Mock test after mock test. Hmm let's see which subject's mock test or mock paper have we done. E Maths, Chemistry... English. Physics and Add Maths is next week. Zz... And we also have to do other school's humanities papers. Argh... Well... Another 2 months, we'd have nothing to do =)
Argh, I sometimes wonder whether I am overly sensitive. Am I? And whether I think too much at times. But despite all this, I know that... I am definitely very thoughtful. You might disagree... But seriously... However sometimes, this constant thinking for others mentality doesn't always work, for some reason, and I don't know why. Someone enlighten me...
China is going to be the third nation to have a man in the vacuum of space. They have invaded so many places. Now space? Argh... I wouldn't be surprised if they get a man to Mars first. Apparently they are going to test their China suit as I like to call it. One of their so-called taikonauts, which is some translation from tai kong or sky/space/i don't know, is going to wear their Made In China suit and do some space walk. SHOULD it fail, another of their taikonaut, in a RUSSIAN spacesuit (more reliable sia...), will have to rescue that guy in the China suit. Lol... Complicated stuff. Chinese Astronaut Walks in Space.
Tomorrow. Merseyside retreats to each side of red and blue. Everton vs Liverpool at the inferior stadium, Goodison Park. : ) I AM SO DESPERATE FOR LIVERPOOL TO WIN!! Argh... Team for tomorrow... reina; carra, skrtel, agger, dossena; kuyt, alonso, masch, babel; gerrard (c); torres. subs: cavalieri, hyypia, arbeloa, lucas, benayoun, riera, keane. So yeah... I feel Carragher should be pushed to the right, for Skrtel and Agger to pair up. Carra will also do well to hold off Mikel Arteta's creative threat. Robbie Keane, Yossi Benayoun, Albert Riera might come on, although it might either by Babel or Riera on the left...
C'mon!!

So it's 4 more weeks to 'O's, not three. Haha... Nothing else to say really.
Back to football... Liverpool face Crewe tonight. Here's the likely team: cavalieri; degen, agger, hyypia, insua; el zhar, plessis, lucas, babel; n'gog, keane. subs: reina, carra, darby, gerrard, spearing, benayoun, pacheco. Hopefully if Liverpool does get into a good lead, the likes of Stephen Darby, Jay Spearing and Dani Pacheco could be brought on for a good first-team runout. Emiliano Insua and Andrea Dossena? Don't really know, but Insua should start I feel, don't know how Rafa feels though. Philipp Degen and Diego Cavalieri for their first starts. Steven Gerrard and Yossi Benayoun shouldn't be used, only if need be, like ONLY... Ryan Babel and Robbie Keane should be taken off, once Liverpool, as mentioned, go ahead, and also hopefully once Keane scores a goal or two...
Back to studyin... Chemistry now...
Bye~!

Overall quite satisfied with the Prelim III results, although there are leaps of improvements that I can make. Chemistry was a real plus for me, giving me belief that I can get an A, whether 1 or 2 I don't care. But it's the belief that really spurs me on to work hard for chemistry. Physics was the same result as chemistry, so it's rather like, there... E Maths was a real disappointment, just getting a A2 on the dot. Argh how am I going to make up another 15 marks for the actual 'O's? Add Maths didn't do well either... And I thought Maths was easy...
History was as per normal. COMBINED HUMANITIES, one mark to A1.. Lol... How unlucky? Oh yeah... English... B4!!! Need to chiong a lot of compres and compos before the 'O's. Like everyday one. But how to study others? This is gonna be a little bit tough. L1R5 I think is 14. Need to reduce to at least 9! Hmm...
3 weeks left. Around 2-3 days for one subject. Hehh...

understanding.
in the dictionary, as a verb, it simply means to accept tolerantly or sympathetically.
misunderstanding.
in the dictionary, as a verb, it simply means to take words, statements, etc.) in a wrong sense; understand wrongly.
In this world we live in, understanding, I feel, is the most important thing, the most important skill, we all need to have, in order to live happily. Misunderstanding leads to many disastrous consequences. Disagreements, fights, even maybe wars. Nothing is more important than talking.
Here's some lyrics of Understand by the Dutch band The Sheer:
We’ve got a situation, you tell me all is lost When you’ve got a problem We’re gonna work it all out
You’ve got it so bad, you’ll fade to gray ‘cause when you’ve got a problem I’m gonna make it all right
I’ve got to make you understand All you need is a helping hand I’ve got to make you understand We’re gonna make it to the end
Oh look out!
We meet around eleven I heard there’s something wrong When you’ve got a problem We’re gonna work it all out
You’ve got it so bad, you’ll fade to gray We’ve got to get together You’re gonna let it all out
I’ve got to make you understand All you need is a helping hand I’ve got to make you understand We’re gonna make it to the end
I’ve got to make you understand All you need is a helping hand I’ve got to make you understand We’re gonna make it to the end
You got to let me know You got to let me know Before it’s all to late You got to let me know You got to let me know Before it’s all to late
I’ve got to make you understand All you need is a helping hand I’ve got to make you understand We’re gonna make it to the end
I’ve got to make you understand All you need is a helping hand I’ve got to make you understand We’re gonna make it to the end

So yeah after everyone's recovering from the euphoria of the defeat of Man Utd by Liverpool last Saturday, the CHAMPIONS LEAGUE IS BACK! Wooo, a couple of months after JT missed his crucial kick that would have made Chel$ki champions, this year's edition starts tomorrow morning! Liverpool play Marseille of France, in France. My team: reina, arbeloa, carra, agger, dossena, kuyt, masch, alonso, riera, gerrard, keane. subs that should come on: torres, babel, benayoun, lucas, degen. subs that would most probably miss out: cavalieri, skrtel. =) C'mon REDS!
Prelim III is officially over, today. Script check starts tomorrow, till probably Friday. Wow right? Haha... It's all chiong for the month worth leading up to the 'O's. Needa get going already. So yeah, also need to prep myself to brace the good and bad results this coming three days. Haha, good luck peepz!
Hmm I finally fully realised that we may never be who we are, may never reflect our true self, with others in sight, others we want to impress do desperately, and hopefully fit in. I do not like these kinda people, not *hate ah, dislike* only, got difference hor! So yeah, that could probably mean I don't like myself? Haha... I cannot deny that there are a few times I am a little fake, there are definitely many more times many others have been a little fake to each other. I'm not talking about any betrayal or stuff, that's much deeper than this, more serious as well. But what I don't like is, some* people tend to change themselves for that period of time with the other person, just to look "perfect", or look "right", which I find a little odd. Hmm... That's just my opinion. No offence to anyone though. So yeah...
Bye~!

*LATEST NEWS!!!! WOOOHOOOO! First some tabloids... Rumours...
Prelim III is 95% done. Just that tiny little bit of Chemistry MCQ left to do. Best thing is, there's no school on Monday! It's for the Literature exam. Haha lucky I don't think what's also known as chimology. =) So yeah, the E Maths paper I was definitely much easier compared to E Maths paper II, and it was a contrast for Add Maths, much more difficult in paper I than paper II. Argh, a minimum of 70 for both would be good already, considering the difficulty.
It was the first time there was a screw up during the exam, Geography Elect, that is. The stupid Mooncake Festival celebrations were happening in the Primary School Hall. And for the stupid interference, we had to endure a best part of five minutes of rambling of Chinese shit from those China dawgs. Luckily we had seven minutes added on, which I felt was just a little too much.
I hate him walking up and down the aile. The smell is like just so intense, and it's not even a nice smell, it's so damn disgusting. And why must the teachers always walk up and down? Can't they stand still? I mean, the Hall's floor is so unstable. And, why doesn't those INVIGILATORS use their brains and off the mic whenever they are not using it. During one of the exams, the stupid constant stapling from one of the English teachers was so $%&@ing irritating.
AND THEY SAID WE DON'T USE OUR BRAINS. LOOK AT YOURSELVES!
So it's all rests tonight, and the chionging, last lap of this race, begins tomorrow. Again. 5 weeks left.
Watched that Nat Geo documentary "Don't Tell My Mother", where this American poses as a foreign actor visiting North Korea. I like one of his lines...
Someone forgot to tell me... that in a land of socialism, some are more equal than others...
I so agree, no one's equal, no matter how you look at it.
TOMORROW'S THE FIRST BIG GAME OF THE NEW BPL08/09 SEASON. It's the Red of Merseyside against the Red of Manchester. The team I WANT OUT!:
It's been Seven years since September 11, 2001. Wow... Today is the Eleventh of September. Let's reflect on the enormous global impact that day seven years ago had, on not just the Americans, but every single one of us...

Welcome to Liverpool, Albert Riera!
Ok lowdown on this guy...
Firstly, he didn't impress at Man City when he was on loan there, hence, he didn't get signed on permanently by the now UBER RICH club. Apparently Man City's Abu Dhabi owners is 10 times richer than Roman Abramovich. Oh shit. I think a couple dozen thousand gallons of oil was needed to pay off Robinho! Haha..
Secondly, he's from Spain! He's a Left-Winger, something Liverpool lacked last year... Oh wait, wasn't Harry Kewell there? So anyway, he's left-footed! Something Ryan Babel lacks. So more variety on the whole.Thirdly, he doesn't look good. I think he'll get thrusted into the squad for United the following week.
Haha funny, news came out from Skysports.com that Man City, with their frickin new found wealth, threw multiple bids on deadline day. F them! They're spoiling the game like Chelsea did. Here was their apparent short adventure on August 31st 2008:
1 Ruud van Nistelrooy (Real Madrid, Holland, 32 years old) City apparently flashed a "blank cheque" in front of Roman Calderon's face, and luckily, he rejected it.
2 FERNANDO TORRES (Liverpool, Spain, 24) Offered Liverpool £50million for the Spanish hitman, LUCKILY TOO, LIVERPOOL REJECTED IT! Ooh am I relieved.
3 Klass-Jan Huntelaar (Ajax Amsterdam, Holland, 25) Wanted to pay a huge sum for Huntelaar, Ajax rejected it too.
And one more thing, City apparently want to bid for Cristiano Ronaldo in the transfer window in January next year... Like having Robinho on the left and SWP on the right isn't enough. Argh...
Bye~!

What a disappointing draw for Liverpool. After celebrating Tottenham's draw with Chelsea, I fully expected Rafa Benitez to set out his team to win the game, especially with the two poor performances recently, well make it three if you count the Standard Liege one. So he pulls his shitty line-up out on the turf of Villa Park. When I say it's shitty, it pretty much is... Okay to be fair, the non-shitty bit first. Obviously Jose Reina started in goal. Duh! With Alvaro Arbeloa, Jamie Carragher, Martin Skr... blah blah. Then Dirk Kuyt on the right, that's fine, especially with Jermaine Pennant going to be forced out by midnight, or spend the next 5 months in the reserves. Robbie Keane on the left, ok that's fine. But why Javier Mascherano, Xabi Alonso, AND Lucas Leiva all in midfield? Couldn't Rafa just played the former two, and gave Keane the forward role, or played Ryan Babel or David N'Gog? Why so negative? Champions need to beat teams of calibre such as Villa, no matter how good, in order to be true champions. I, though, praise him that he brought on N'Gog for Fernando Torres fell injured. But why Fabio Aurelio on for Dirk Kuyt? Why not Babel? Then... Why Robbie Keane off, for Yossi Benayoun? Again, why not Babel?
Man Utd must be happy he is almost certainly out for their clash with the Reds' in two weeks time.
WHY NO PENALTY?! NIGEL REO-COKER SO CLEARLY FOULED KEANE. HIS LEG IMPEDED KEANE FROM SHOOTING! STUPID REFEREE. REO-COKER NEVER TOOK THE BALL!
Ahh away from footy, why haven't I felt gan chiong yet? 'O's is so near. Argh, needa kick up the work rate one notch higher.
Anyway, 'O's will almost definitely fly pass as we study like dogs... But I really wonder, will we miss each other? Or each other's company? Will we continue to be as close even in JC/Poly? Will we still meet up, have fun, and do what we like to do? I hope everything we have now doesn't cease. It's just too hard to let go, I guess. What I'm feelin' now can't be compared to the mixed and overwhelming emotions I will almost definitely feel on Grad Nite. That pretty much sucks. =(
