Substitutes (Probable): 40. David Martin, 23. Jamie Carragher, 7. Harry Kewell, 11. Yossi Benayoun, 10. Andriy Voronin
So its the League Cup, or sorry, Carling Cup game between Coca-Cola Championship side Cardiff City. The return of Kop legend Robbie Fowler is the highlight of this one. I hope to see Jack Hobbs in the team, to test the young Liverpool lad against the once Kop hero Robbie Fowler. Fellow youngsters Emiliano Insua, Sebastian Leto and Lucas Leiva should, and I must emphasis, must get the chance to play, since this is a cup game, and that they should be good enough against a team one division below the Reds.
And with a bench of the returning Harry Kewell, playmaker Yossi Benayoun and striker Andriy Voronin, Liverpool have enough firepower if need be, to send on. A defensive colossal in Jamie Carragher will also be able to be called on if manager Rafa Benitez feels it is necessary...
So c'mon Reds!

Monday, October 29, 2007
I was just watching the 1994/95 Premier League game between Arsenal and Liverpool on GoalTV1. That game where Liverpool won, I think... 4-1, which was highlighted by the fastest Premier League hat-trick ever, Robbie Fowler's just before 5 minutes. Liverpool had a team that featured, Fowler himself, Ian Rush, Steve Mcmanaman, Jamie Redknapp and, believe me, goalkeeper David James. Yes the one at Portsmouth now. Liverpool then were playing so fluently against an Arsenal side that had Ian Wright, David Seaman, Lee Dixon, Nigel Winterburn, Martin Keown and such. Even after scoring the first goal, first of three for Fowler, Liverpool still managed to pass the ball around smoothly. The fleet-footed winger Mcmanaman could torment both full-backs with his trickery. Fowler's movement in the second goal was just magnificent.
And comparing back to yesterday's game against Arsenal, Liverpool didn't look as good. They boasted a team that had, counting fit ones only, Dirk Kuyt, Steven Gerrard, Javier Mascherano, Jamie Carragher and Jose Reina. Kuyt was playing out of position, but he was supposed to be decent on the right. Liverpool got the goal early on, which Rafa Benitez would have loved, after Steven Gerrard's scorcher of a shot bulged Manuel Almunia's net. Liverpool were leading a free-flowing table toppers Arsenal who boasted Cesc Fabregas, Kolo Toure, Emmanuel Adebayor, Aliaksander Hleb and such. Arsenal replied excellently, constantly spreading the play, attacking the Kop End with slick movement and their trademark passes. Even with the immense Mascherano dealing with one threat, an unfit Xabi Alonso could not help him by dealing with the other ones. Fernando Torres could not keep up and eventually got injured, Peter Crouch's introduction made the latter look more effective, with two shots at around the same place, a knockdown for the on rushing Gerrard. Why was there no Lucas Leiva or Momo Sissoko on the bench?
Anyway away from soccer, I have to go make me IC. The place that makes the IC, watever you call it, gives me like only about 15 days to make my IC. A day before my birthday till two weeks after. Can't they like give one month? And they are kinda scheming too, only putting "Monday to Friday (8.00am-4.30pm) big enough for most to see, whilst a small little "(8.30am-1.00pm) Saturday". They want all of us to cramp on weekdays. I have no time this week and probably next. There's remedial that was supposed to happen today, but thanks to some stupidity, it was postponed to tomorrow. Wasted my time in school today. And so tomorrow's the make up for todays. Thursday and Friday are History remedials in the morning, with the following Monday having History again plus a mass Social Studies lecture. Sian...

Anfield Sunday 28 October 2007 11.55pm (SG, GMT+8) Channel 27
Liverpool Line-Up (Probable):
25. Jose "Pepe" Reina
23. Jamie Carragher __ 5. Daniel Agger
3. Steve Finnan ______________________________________ 2. Alvaro Arbeloa
14. Xabi Alonso ____ 20. Javier Mascherano
18. Dirk Kuyt _________________________________________ 19. Ryan Babel
8. Steven Gerrard (C)
9. Fernando Torres
Substitutes (Probable): 30. Charles Itandje, 4. Sami Hyypia, 21. Lucas Leiva, 11. Yossi Benayoun, 15. Peter Crouch
Other sources of information:
So its Liverpool versus... The extremely in-form Arsenal, on Sunday night. So would it be Rafa Benitez's Liverpool team, who have been a little off-form of late, or will it be Arsene Wenger's young Arsenal gunners, who aim to continue their fine run of 12 unbeaten game streak. Or will it just be a tight draw... Hope not! I just really hope young Danish defender Daniel Agger, influential Spanish playmaker Xabi Alonso, and Spanish hotshot Fernando Torres walks back into the first eleven. I just have a feeling Benitez will go for a free-flowing 4-5-1, with it capable of turning into a 4-4-2 or an attacking 4-3-3, to signal their intent against Arsenal. Hopefully if Agger do make it back, he'll be match fit enough to deal with the imminent threat of Theo Walcott and Emmanuel Adebayor along with Jamie Carragher. Alvaro Arbeloa would be the preferred choice at left-back to keep the threat of Aliaksander Hleb down, as he likes to cut in often.
The 4-5-1 should stop Arsenal's passing play, and be able to close down Cesc Fabregas and Mathieu Flamini, whilst allowing skipper Steven Gerrard and Dirk Kuyt to bomb forward, along with winger Ryan Babel, to support Torres. Alonso's inclusion will also allow him to pass the ball around, and add some composure into the team. C'mon Reds! Derail Arsenal!!!
So yeah... Other than soccer, today had 6 Mediacorp artist, Yvonne Lim, Michelle Chong, Michelle Chia, Vivian Lai and Felicia Chin visit our school for some filming in the auditorium. Oh yeah and Patricia Mok too. yucks, sorry if I'm damn bad. The whole school was crazy over them... So many camera phones out to take pictures. Mr DC also quite guai lan today. Act discipline actually as star-struck as the student body! Haha...
Over the past few days, I realised something. There are still good left in the world, actually a lot of good. Its just that, good people are usually those humble type, only wanting to live normal lives. Whilst on the other hand, the bad people, which is of very little, strive on power, always finding ways to get to the top, to influence the good, thus so much controversy in the whole world... Sigh...

Happy Birthday to me. I turn 15 years old today, hmm... This week hasn't been the greatest. Liverpool just managed to sneak a controversial win over Everton, but against Besiktas away, they lost miserably 2-1. Another Sami Hyypia own goal defined the course of the game. Can't really blame him though, Jamie Carragher's clearance was rather unlucky too. A swift Besiktas counterattack left striker Bobo lobanging Jose Reina for the second. Only that could trigger Rafa Benitez in finally bringing on Peter Crouch, turning to a 3-4-3 all-or-nothing strategy. It paid off almost immediately, with Crouch's aerial threat enough to panick the Besiktas defence and allowing an on-flying Steven Gerrard to pull a goal back. Hopes were high for the last 9 minutes, but it was not to be, Liverpool sit bottom of Group A, with one point. Damn sian Marseille didnt' win Porto. Their draw wasa lil'crappy. So now hopefully Liverpool will prevail, at Anfield, against the extremely in-form Arsenal side.
So today's Chinese Intensive was watching some French movie about some school for difficult students, and a new supervisor turning them into musical wonders as a choir. And to think SY was in choir before? Haha... Joking... Quite touching show, especially at the end. Great flashback technique too. So luckily no Chinese Intensive, at least they showed some mercy...
The game FIFA 2008 bought as a birthday present to me can't be played by me!!! Stupid XBOX360 got problem, then Microsoft damn smart, November 5 onwards then can exchange for a working one. Can't wait to rematch with SY, Real Madrid vs Liverpool. =D
Need to have some fun during the holidays, whilst studying a little.

luck
Saturday, October 20, 2007
Luck. Every team has that. Its the hallmark of potential Champions. It goes against you... And then for you. Karma, most might say? Liverpool had it against with Florent Malouda. Now Joleon Lescott is for the Reds. What's wrong with that? Every team has luck.
Liverpool won Everton 2-1! What an early birthday present for me... So so pleased. Now just because Liverpool won with two penalties, everyone is saying it was lucky. Wasn't Everton lucky, or wasn't Liverpool very unlucky at the first goal? Sami Hyypia's sliced clearance, to Everton, great finishing, just so unlucky to Liverpool. In truth Hyypia's clearance could have gone anywhere couldn't it?
Everton 1-0 up on the luck count.
Liverpool started to attack more in the second half. Fair play to them, and to Rafa Benitez for his change of Steven Gerrard in the center. Everton were still threatening, no doubt. A Mikel Arteta corner is whipped in, Liverpool clear towards the halfway line. Andriy Voronin does brilliantly to head the ball towards the path of an oncoming Steven Gerrard. Tony Hibbert tracks him. Gerrard races towards Everton's goal, and their goalkeeper, Tim Howard. Gerrard uses his experience to go across Hibbert, to also get a better position to hit the ball with his right foot, and to block Hibbert from getting the ball.
Wrong? I don't think so...
Hibbert thinks he has to intervene. Okay fine. He tugs Gerrard's shirt and entangles his legs with Gerrard's. It obviously unbalances a full-paced Gerrard. No? Gerrard can't stay up any longer because of the tugging and has to go down. Penalty. You can't call the lucky. Hibbert, last man. No? Unless you are blind, as to see other players near Howard. Red card? Letter of the law, it states to send off the last man. Hibbert's off, Dirk Kuyt steps up. He deceives Howard on his run-up, and slots it the other way.
Liverpool equalise, 1-1. No luck involved. Find for me if you still doubt it.
The other end, Steve Finnan holds Lescott off in the penalty area. It was just a little tug, both were at it... No penalty. No luck involved! Liverpool continue to go on the offensive. Kuyt centers the ball to John Arne Riise, who blasts it over. He could have done better, but his shot could have easily gone into the net, like Hyypia's unlucky clearance.
Everton 2-0 up on the luck count.
Liverpool go on a last ditch offensive near the end of 90 minutes. A Ryan Babel cross reaches Kuyt, who can only hit the goalkeeper. The ball reaches to substitute Lucas Leiva, with an open goal, blasts his shot towards the net. Everton's disgraced captain Phil Neville, whom I like to highlight is a defender, saves the ball with his hand. Great save too, sadly he's not a goalkeeper. Luck? More like luck on Everton's side, or else Lucas would have scored the winner. Penalty. Kuyt steps up again, and scores, just. Howard gets a hand to it but Kuyt's effort is too hard.
Liverpool up 2-1, with a minute left. Liverpool pegged back on the luck count, 1-2.
Very very late, last minute. With 9 men, the ball is launched up into the box from a throw in. Jamie Carragher's arms are wrapped around Lescott. Lescott backs into Carragher and both fall to the floor. And of course, Lescott makes himself the victim. No penalty. Liverpool lucky there, this was not like the Finnan one.
Liverpool win the match 2-1. And draw level with Everton on the luck count, 2-2.
So there you go, if you still think Liverpool were lucky. Wasn't Everton oh so lucky too? Biased Manchester United, Arsenal, and Chelsea fans are suddenly on Everton's side. Chelsea fans, weren't Finnan unlucky for that Malouda incidental collision? You say its not lucky. Every team has luck, its just when and during what match.
Oh yeah, and did I mentioned Liverpool's best player, Steven Gerrard, was brought off for a youngster, Lucas Leiva, who almost scored the winner, but for Phil Neville's cheating attitude?
Bye~!

Everton vs Liverpool
Goodison Park Saturday 20 October 2007 7.40pm, (SG, GMT+8) Channel 27
Liverpool Line-Up (Probable):
25. Jose "Pepe" Reina
23. Jamie Carragher __ 4. Sami Hyypia
3. Steve Finnan ______________________________________ 12. Fabio Aurelio
8. Steven Gerrard (C) ____ 20. Javier Mascherano
16. Jermaine Pennant __________________________________ 19. Ryan Babel
9. Fernando Torres ______ 18. Dirk Kuyt
Substitutes (Probable): 30. Charles Itandje, 17. Alvaro Arbeloa, 6. John Arne Riise, 22. Mohamed Sissoko, 15. Peter Crouch
So here's what I want the line-up to be. Liverpool up against the old foe, at that small stadium. It's not going to be easy for the Reds. With the possible return of Tim Cahill, and players such as Yakubu, Mikel Arteta and Joseph Yobo in their team, they could be as solid as us on any day. With the center of midfield likely going to be crowded out by Phil Neville and Lee Carsley, Liverpool should look to get the ball wide to the flanks, so as to bypass the formers and get crosses in. Should Cahill be fit, Mascherano would have a tough job in keeping him quiet, whilst either Liverpool full-back might have to take on a creative Arteta or a industrious Leon Osman, either way, it is not going to be easy for them. Jamie Carragher and Sami Hyypia would need to play very tight on their strikers. Fernando Torres and Dirk Kuyt need to work extra hard for the space, and if need be, Peter Crouch should come on for some sort of aerial threat if necessary. Mohamed Sissoko would only be brought on in case of the defence of a lead. John Arne Riise would give Liverpool the left-footed player on their left flank. Yossi Benayoun might not be in the above list, but he might pipe one of Riise or Sissoko for a place on the bench... C'mon Reds!!!
Now for some nice football videos. Glaring misses, great goals, top 20 Liverpool goals, and some comedy...
All these random stuff... Enjoy. The Football Comedy one is quite funny, actually damn funny at some parts. Liverpool 3-3 West Ham, Gerrard's last minute goal, that was rightly the best... So yeah...

This week has been a lil' up and down for me... I realised a lot of things during the course of this week... Hmm... It could be me, or what, but maybe I dun really have people around me who I can really trust, maybe just people who I can have fun with... Dun tink sick at this point of time, please! Its like everyone around me, except for some yeah, isn't really 'nice', or that they really feel as someone they like to be with. This whole year has gone by in a, as the cliche goes, blink of an eye. This whole year isn't like Sec 1 or Sec 2, there is more of helping and saving yourself, less time with each other, more studying and definitely more pressure. And to think that this is the start of what is to come next year... Nuts~ So yeah... I really do not know what to do... This weeks' been rather crappy too. But hey, at least I didn't fail anything that bad overall for the whole year, or for the final years, except for that one special mark that eluded me for Chemistry. Of course I do not just think of passing, I got rather great grades for Humanities and Add Maths. Don't talk to me about those Sciences. So yeah... Hope to finally know and realise who my true friends are. Can I ever realise who are they?
everton vs Liverpool. short and sweet. this Saturday, 7.40pm, Singapore GMT+8. team line-up: reina, finnan, carragher, hyypia, arbeloa, pennant, gerrard, mascherano, babel, torres, kuyt. substitutes: crouch, benayoun and riise to come on, itandje and sissoko to come on in case of emergency. hope Liverpool can get the result...
4. Steven Gerrard (C) (Liverpool) ___ 7. Gareth Barry (Aston Villa)
8. Shaun Wright-Phillips (Chelsea) ______________________________ 11. Joe Cole (Chelsea)
9. Wayne Rooney (Manchester United) __ Michael Owen (Newcastle United)
Substitutes (Probable): 13. David James (Portsmouth), 12. Joleon Lescott (Everton), 14. Phil Neville (Everton), 15. Frank Lampard (Chelsea), 16. David Bentley (Blackburn Rovers), 17. Peter Crouch (Liverpool), 18. Jermaine Defoe (Tottenham Hotspur)
The above line-up and substitutes bench is what I'm predicting, which is quite probable. Everything from the game at Estonia will be the same, with only what I think is Nicky Shorey replacing the injured Ashley Cole at left back. The key to England's success in Moscow will definitely be their midfield's form and the control they exert. Stand-in skipper Steven Gerrard and Gareth Barry are key in controlling the game for England. The inspirational Liverpool captain will not be allowed to push forward too much, unlike against Estonia, he might have to hold the fort with Barry rather than producing his famous marauding runs. Russian duo Andrei Arshavin and Alexei Smertin are threats England have to deal with. Micah Richards and Nicky Shorey might not get too much opportunity to maraud down the flanks, they might have to do more defensive work. Shaun Wright-Phillips and Joe Cole will be the main men to supply or create chances for themselves and strike partners Wayne Rooney and Michael Owen.
Set-pieces such as corners and free kicks could be important in deciding England's goals, whether against or for. The commanding presence of Sol Campbell might offer some Vidic-like threat during set-pieces. The much-talked about artificial pitch should not be used as an excuse for any England demise. They are professionals, highly-paid, and sure they have to be adaptable to any sort of conditions, and slug it out with the lesser-known and lesser-paid Russians.
Away from soccer, my results sucked big time, except for two. Both sciences, Chemistry and Physics, one borderline fail one borderline pass... Don't ask which ones which... Add Maths result was an astounding 80/100... Yeah... Social Studies was also another high on a very sian day for me, 27/30... Tomorrow's results are History, Chinese and Geography...

Monday, October 15, 2007
Hmm... Frank Lampard back in the squad to face Russia? Stupid decision by Steve McClaren if that goes through. Dropping the in-form Shaun Wright-Phillips in favour of a big name, overly-paid midfielder who earns his money by constantly letting balls fly? A 4-3-3 formation against Russia? Disrupting the harmonious 4-4-2 formation everyone is so damn used to? After so many good decisions, like recalls of players such as Emile Heskey, David Beckham and most recently, Gareth Barry, Steve McClaren's gonna get the beating of the British media and press if he does all the above against Russia, and more importantly, doesn't win.
You see the thing is, Steven Gerrard and Lampard can't play together. Lampard's attacking role he usually takes is where Wayne Rooney plays, and the latter is for one that would not really be dropped by McClaren. And when Lampard plays, Gerrard's attacking instincts, which defers from Rooney, is reduced, he has to play more defensively, which he is good at too, but all this does not benefit England, or McClaren's job security. It would be a great loss for England if Gerrard isn't playing as the offensive midfielder. England have Barry, Owen Hargreaves, Michael Carrick to play in that defensive midfield role, so why force the very infamous Lampard back into the first eleven?
Barry offers a real sitting back option, simple Makelele-like distribution, and the odd defence-splitting ball.
Hargreaves is a tireless worker, willing to cover for Gerrard and the two full-backs. His passing isn't that bad either. Carrick is the last option. Not much pace, but great passing ability. Not much tackling ability, but much commitment.
So as you can see, there are at least two players who offer much more benefiting options for England than Lampard. Just put the guy on the bench... Bring him on when one midfielder is injured, or when England is losing a game. He is just overrated.
Lampard sucked for many competitive games in midfield. Gerrard was just not as good as he can be when playing in a competitive game that did not need him to be at his best when England was already 3-0 up by the 35 minute mark. Do your math if you're still pondering.
One more thing, why can't England just play Rooney with a target man, when Michael Owen isn't performing? England could just start the game with Owen on the bench. Rooney could play with a target man, like Peter Crouch, Dean Ashton or Heskey. Why does Owen have to play? Owen could be the supersub for England now, just coming on in a bid to make use of his great finishing abilities to try to win or equalize a game. A target man could win headers and knockdowns when balls from Rio Ferdinand and John Terry is pumped upfield at times of desperation or lapses of creativity. That target man has to be mobile too and provide other qualities for England, not just his height. Wayne Rooney is the perfect match as he plays behind and can supply the balls to the wings which can provide the crosses those target men desire. Rooney can also cover any midfielders with his hard running and hard tackling. His passing and long range shooting is also very admirable. So for me, England's ideal formation, on paper and on current form is.:
1. Paul Robinson (Tottenham Hotspur)
5. Rio Ferdinand (Manchester United) __ 6. John Terry (Chelsea)
4. Steven Gerrard (C) (Liverpool) ___ 7. Gareth Barry (Aston Villa)
8. Shaun Wright-Phillips (Chelsea) ______________________________ 11. Joe Cole (Chelsea)
9. Wayne Rooney (Manchester United) __ 10. Dean Ashton (West Ham)
The backline is pretty settled, with Micah, Rio, John and Ashley looking quite a formidable quartet. Stevie G and one of Barry, Hargreaves or Carrick should play. Aaron Lennon could compete with SWP and Joe Cole for one of the two flanking spots. Wayne Rooney and one of Ashton, Crouch or Heskey should finish the line-up. And who could forget? Paul Robinson... Another mistake, bring in Scott Carson!
4. Steven Gerrard (C) (Liverpool) ___ 7. Gareth Barry (Aston Villa)
8. Shaun Wright-Phillips (Chelsea) ______________________________ 11. Joe Cole (Chelsea)
9. Wayne Rooney (Manchester United) __ Michael Owen (Newcastle United)
Substitutes (Confirmed): 13. David James (Portsmouth), 12. Joleon Lescott (Everton), 14. Phil Neville (Everton), 15. Frank Lampard (Chelsea), 16. David Bentley (Blackburn Rovers), 17. Peter Crouch (Liverpool), 18. Jermaine Defoe (Tottenham Hotspur)
So those are all the confirmed information for tonight's match of England's national team against their Estonia counterparts. A comfortable 3-0 win for England during their last meeting, with the return of LA Galaxy midfielder David Beckham the more prevailing headline news. England should be clear favourites for the 3 points, but will have to be warned of complacency by boss Steve McClaren. Little yellow cards or none, especially for Ashley and Joe Cole, including Rio Ferdinand, plus 3 valuable points would be a major confidence booster ahead to a visit to Russia's plastic pitch stadium.
Rio Ferdinand and Sol Campbell should have a field day against Estonia's weak attack, but they should not take them for granted. This should give Micah Richards and Ashley Cole much freedom to roam upfield and support the attack, plus provide crosses for the strikers. Gareth Barry would also be tasked with a defensive duty, but with Estonia's rather weak midfield and sitting back mentality, he should be able to play in a more advance position but just behind stand-in captain Steven Gerrard. He should play as the supporting midfielder for the forwards. Shaun Wright-Phillips and Joe Cole will terrorize down the flanks, cut in, and periodically switch flanks to confuse Estonia's defence. Michael Owen will play further upfield to pick on loose balls and fine crosses, whilst Wayne Rooney will play behind a little to link the midfield.
England will win!!! Haha... Then they will be a little more prepared for Russia, less pressure too. I'm gonna watch a thrashing I guess... Haha... Can't be too confident though...
Bye~!

reserve
Friday, October 12, 2007
Hmm... Youngsters and reserve team players... The first part of today's entry will be profiling some of the up and coming hot prospects coming through the ranks of various clubs, which could make the big step into the first team regularly, especially not just the Big 4.
Kasper Schmeichel (20, Manchester City) Great goalkeeper following in the footsteps of his legendary father, Peter, could go on to be as good as him if hard work and luck favours him.
Kieran Lee (19, Manchester United) A midfielder-cum-full back, he has good passing ability and tackling capabilities. His O'Shea-type of versatility might kick start his first team career, but might not feature as regularly as wanted.
Jack Hobbs (19, Liverpool) A defender earmarked with a bright future from senior defender Jamie Carragher. His leadership potential as captain of reserves and huge defending potential sees him as a good replacement for Sami Hyypia in the long run.
Gerard Pique (20, Manchester United) A strong and tall defender, capable of winning most aerial battles, however it remains to be seen if he can defend well on the ground,.
Armand Traore (18, Arsenal) Another student under Arsene Wenger, he has the pace to burn to beat fellow defenders and create chances for strikers to score when off defence duties.
Nathan Porritt (16, Middlesbrough) A pacey right winger, capable of playing on the left, who can dribble well and have good crossing technique for a player of his age.
Craig Gardener (20, Aston Villa) This midfielder from Solihull made the grade from Villa's academy, and is capable of scoring free kicks and produce long range wonder goals.
Lee Cattermole (19, Middlesbrough) A defensive-minded midfielder with a bright future ahead of him, he not only tackles well, he packs a good shot within him.
Gareth Bale (19, Tottenham Hotspur) Much talked about left-sided player from Southampton, he is good at ramming in free kicks, or just providing for his teammates by exquisitely passing or crossing the ball.
Ben Hutchinson (19, Middlesbrough) Young striker that graduated from Middlesbrough's ever-improving academy. Scored a consolation and is capable of goals on his day.
Daniel Sturridge (18, Manchester City) A good striker with a future in the game, capable of scoring goals as well as providing for his City teammates.
So here's my First XI pick for up and coming hot prospects in the Barclays Premier League. I feel that all of them will have good careers in the future wherever they play, if the potential they are displaying now are well developed and nurtured.
Now for some non-soccer stuff that I am so used to. Haha... Some funny videos, some of magic and some are just crap... Haha...

Haha... Notice the way the fake David Blaine keeps staring at the camera after doing some "trick"? They're probably trying to mock David Blaine's television antics... Whatever...

Over competitive? Over enthu? Or just plain... Pissed? Either way, it was the mind games tactics that was employed, that over-hyped the opposition, into desperate long range, inaccurate shots. We won the first match 2-0. Nothing great about that, just that we won our first match. Then a good 2 hours later, we were playing them. We went 3-1 down! Aaahh my confidence dealt a significant blow, maybe I'm not good enough? Maybe I just suck? Anyway, it got to my head and I decided to piss them off. We eventually managed to win 7-4, due to some dubious decisions, his quick thinking of a long range shot, and their anger eventually resulted in their downfall.
We are now leading by 6 points in the 5-team league system, if its correctly calculated of one win equals 3 points, a draw equates to a point, nothing for a lost. Unless of course, by playing in a basketball court with the goal as big as the two points of the two-pointer line, it could all be different, couldn't it? Hehh...
Dunno how to turn up next week for the last two games, in which if we both win, and I really hope we do, we are Champions! Haha... So yeah... But I could concede again, couldn't I? Since after conceding 4 goals yesterday...
I'm still trying hard, yeah SY... You gotta help me, you know... It's hard, I mean difficult... I neeed it!! Aaahh...
Tuesday went with SY, AM, CW and surprisingly DS and SKH to hang out. Ate at J8 and rushed off to Cathay Cineleisure to watch Balls of Fury... We walked around after purchasing the tickets... Yeah checked out some nice Adidas stuff... I want a new bag... Haha... So watched the movie... Nice one SY, spill the popcorn FUN AH! Haha... Damn joker...Hehh and we also pang sehed BG... =D

Oh yeah... How sweet is it? Exams are over! The final years are over!!! Haha... Damn shiok, can play until nuts... FIFA 2008's quite nice on the computer But I bet its much better on the XBox... Cant' wait to get my hands on that game... So now an overview on the final year exams...
English Okay overall. The composition was quite tricky... I think its kinda out of point, my story... Report was quite normal... Comprehension... Well it was easier to understand than previous ones...
Chinese Damn sian... Wasted a whole lot of time changing the answers... Gotta be more careful next time... The letter and composition was alright... So overall okay too...
Social Studies The essay was doable... The Source Based questions were alright... Should be quite good...
Elective Geography River section questions were alright... The Coast ones were quite tricky, still managed to do... Should be alright too...
Chemistry Die. Damn difficult even though I memorised most stuff... What the heck's Iron Ores and Furnaces? She certainly didn't taught us that...
Pure History She's damn sneaky! Never put Japan!!! Then each question got one difficult essay! Err! Should have known...
Additional Mathematics Much manageable... Easier than expected... Still can't be too overly confident... But hope can get good enough to pull up average to A2!!! Ambitious.
Physics Quite alright... Hard to get a good, decent result... But should still pass... Not good enough though...
So yeah... This is my overview... Just hope to get decent grades at some subjects... And scrape through others... Liverpool drew 2-2... Special thanks to Fernando Torres and... George Gillet and Tom Hick's combined twenty million pounds... Get it right Rafa Benitez... Stop rotating...

That's our last hurdle... After 9 mind-twisting papers, 5 days of grueling examinations, its just left to three more days, two of which to study, for the last paper, Physics. That subject was the one that pushed my Science average up to 60% in Sec2 after two A2s in the last two terms. It was always better than my Chemistry and Biology, thus choosing that and the former of the latter two. My Physics was always better than my Chemistry, but it just keeps getting the lower grade between the two. It's all about calculation really, and a little bit of application. Need to revise the definitions and formulas for tomorrow's mock test, which would add to my revision of physics too. So hopefully the revision this weekend would help for Monday's last, final paper of the year 2007.
So sian... No Liverpool match on Sunday, a late 10pm kickoff on Sunday however. Sian can't watch... Have to sleep, of course for that, yeah... Disappointing defeat in midweek to Marseille, now have to win all the remaining four matches to qualify for knockout stages. Last week's lackluster win against Wigan only did Yossi Benayoun good. So the formation against Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield, Jose Reina in goal, he's probably the most consistent so far. Steve Finnan has to play right to deal with Steed Malbranque or Aaron Lennon's threat. Alvaro Arbeloa should be restored to left back, or a rest given to him should see Fabio Aurelio fill his place. Jamie Carragher will start, so too Sami Hyypia, but his pace might let him down against Jermaine Defoe or Darren Bent. Jermaine Pennant should play at right midfield, Ryan Babel finally restored at left. Steven Gerrard and Javier Mascherano in the center, that's the best Liverpool have in the middle so far. Fernando Torres and Dirk Kuyt in attack. Yossi Benayoun could come on as a supersub again... Haha...
