3 years on... Prove was finally put up on YouTube a year or so back, with this Liverpool fan in the Anfield stands, with a perpendicular view of the face of the Chelsea goalpost, videoing the period of when Luis Garcia hits the ball and when William Gallas clears, incidentally, both of whom have left their respective clubs, any oh how. This amateur yet the current best clip videoed at the best angle is conclusive prove the ball DID cross the line, no doubt about it.
The Skysports cartoon can't prove anything, in the first place. They only took a small amount of time, in less than a day, to do...
And so, it did! Anyway, I agree with that referee that gave the goal, Lubos Michel, that had he not given that goal, Petr Cech would definitely been sent off for a foul on Milan Baros, and a penalty that would 90% be scored. Many, including Skysports did, might say Milan Baros' foot was too high, BUT... He was still a second before he would even be near with Petr Cech's face, so he was entitled to raise his foot to lob the ball, or else what does he do? Let it go? So both ways, Chelsea and Jose Mourinho have no right to complain. Hahaha... =)
