Bye bye Riise...


Memories such as the cracker against Manchester United, the European Super Cup goal against Bayern, the goal against Everton that resulted from a run that lasted half the length of the pitch, two against Chelsea in the semis of the FA Cup and the Community Shield and of course, the cross that led to Steven Gerrard's headed goal that pulled Liverpool back to 1-3 in the final in Istanbul... Good luck at AS Roma!

So I'm now wondering, what's happened to the imminent signing of Andrea Dossena? The man supposedly to replace Riise? Now there's only Fabio Aurelio and reserve Emiliano Insua at left back, and maybe Alvaro Arbeloa... Do we need Dossena for less than ten million? Why don't save that money plus the sale of Riise for around four to buy another winger or striker? We have Phillipe Degen at right-back to cover Steve Finnan already... And Gareth Barry isn't worth 20 million pounds!!! He's only worth at most 13... A dozen more pounds on that 20 and we could get David Villa.


Congrats to Netherlands, Russia, Spain, Italy, Croatia, Turkey, Portugal and Germany. Tonight's Germany vs Portugal, so one would be knocked out soon. Netherlands' reserve looked impressive, so did Croatia's and Spain's, although Portugal's one looked pretty under-par. Italy held their own against France, albeit some unfortunate incidents that turned the tide against the French. Turkey's magnificent comeback against the Czechs, the villian is Petr Cech and the hero is definitely Nihat. Germany downed Austria easily I must say... Guus Hiddink guides another underdog to the knockout stages of a major international competition. Not bad... Haha... Can't wait for the semis, I think it's showing free on the preview channel. I hope...


Oh yeah... The new firefox's out, heard the new features are pleasing, and that it's pretty good and safe, go check it out and download...
