Hmm... These days I'm trying not to have so much soccer influences on
me blog, but I just can't help it... To
try'da tone those soccer stuff a
lil'... I will present to you some phrases, you almost hear just about every other day!
Erm... one advice there, do highlight and find some parts of the entry are in black, so you probably won't be able to see it without highlighting on it... Enjoy, a tint of soccer flavour will be added on soon...
Haha.:
Take disappointments in your stride and move on.
What doesn't kills you only makes you stronger.
Be patient and always hope for the best.Practice makes perfect.
So these are the phrases that, probably are used too much in our daily lives. But as a hardcore football fan, I'll now try to add it to Liverpool's case for the pursuit of the English Premier League title... Heh... Gettin' board oredy? Sorry then, you can either leave or continue reading on...
...
Liverpool lost the UEFA Champions League final to A.C. Milan of Italy, 2-1. Every knows that story and its' kinda outdated, with the taglines of a season of failures added just because of that lost. But Liverpool's season of failures should also be because of a failed title charge and two cup defeats in the space of four days. So hopefully Liverpool can take those four disappointments in their stride and move on with next season.
It can also be said that Liverpool's fans had been branded the worse in Europe, just because of the so-called 25 incidents in the past years. UEFA has just been shying away from the blame for picking the security-lacking Athens stadium to host that UEFA Champions League final. Anyway this certainly hasn't stopped Liverpool's uber hardcore fans from continuing to show support and showing themselves as one of the most passionate supporters in the world. And it'll probably make them stronger next season at the away grounds in Europe, more noise in the stadium and hopefully help pave the way for Liverpool's sixth UEFA Champions League trophy, compared to Chelsea's ZERO (o), and Manchester United's two (2).
There, there Liverpool fans all over the world, don't be worried that there has been little transfer activities so far. Wait for the Spanish Premier Liga to be over... Just be patient, signings will eventually emerge, and hope for the best next season. Just wait...
And maybe this last phrase or advice might help. More practice on the set-pieces, yeah..? Liverpool has just not been making use of corners and free-kicks to their advantage for most of the time. So far many corners have been wasted, because of some routine, that almost always goes wrong, where Jermaine Pennant, Steven Gerrard, Xabi Alonso or even John Arne Riise would waste by playing short and screwing up the routine. The free-kicks hadn't been any better too. Laying off for Steven Gerrard or John Arne Riise isn't always the best idea. They'd probably get closed down too quickly. Use Xabi Alonso or Fabio Aurelio's curling power more often to get the ball over the wall beckham-style and into the top corner, out of the reach of the helpless goalie!! More practice on that, and maybe there'd be more perfection.
