Now are the strikers... Some have performed well but others have just flunked this 2006/07 Barclays Premiership season...
LOL.:
Peter Crouch
Has had a much better season than the last one. Magnificent
finishes, against Fenerbache and Bolton, in which he
bicycle-kicked the ball into the net. A much improved
striker, Liverpool's top scorer in all competitions this
season, even though he has been subjected to most of Rafa
Benitez's squad rotation policy. 7.5/10
Craig Bellamy
Added much needed pace to Liverpool's front line and as a
whole, however his finishing was questionable this season.
Also added a different dimension to Liverpool's play and if
he had managed to finish off more chances, he might have
been a permanent fixture in Liverpool's side. 6/10
Dirk Kuyt
His hardworking and never-say-die attitude made him a
favourite in Liverpool. Top scorer in the Premiership, but
only with a decade or so of goals. He can adapt to different
striker partnerships, either with Peter Crouch or Craig
Bellamy, and this could be the main reason why he is not as
rotated as the other two are. 7/10
Robbie Fowler
Brought in to coach the younger strikers on finishing, and
also hopefully get some vital goals when coming on late in
games. However, his penalty taking skills were his only
contributions, missing sitters against Fulham and other
clubs, eventually proved to be his downfall and is confirm
to leave the club this summer. 5.5/10
