From a particular soccer news updates website, that website had a title "Everton stun sorry Reds", after Everton hammered Liverpool 3-0 in the 204th Merseyside derby. But...I personally think it should be changed to "
Referee and his decisions stun sorry Reds". The referee had so many mistakes in that game. I only watched from the Andrew Johnson's first goal, Everton's second. After that the referee did not flash any yellow cards to the Everton players, even as they made much more awful fouls than the Liverpool players who got the unfortunate yellow card. Everton's Tony Hibbert cleary, I state again...
clearly blocked Dirk Kuyt's cross with his left hand. So what do you think's the result? Yup...Play on. And when Momo Sissoko protested. Yup...you guessed it, a yellow card was flashed.
Well the wrong side of luck and wrong pre-match tactics also gave Everton the win, even when Liverpool had majority of possesion.
In need of better referees!
