Its finally the beginning of the English Premier League 2006/07 season. It feels like it was just yesterday when the 2005/06 season ended. No more Alan Shearer, Dennis Bergkamp and Djibril Cisse this season. New faces like Michael Ballack, Tomas Rosicky and Dirk Kuyt will be on display for their various clubs over the course of this season. I'll obviously be supporting Liverpool, my favourite club.

Liverpool will play tomorrow against new-comers Sheffield United. They better do well. This year they should be able to challenge for the title with new strikers like Dirk Kuyt and Craig Bellamy. Speedy Gonzalez and Jermaine Pennant should add speed to the flanks. There's definitely much more depth than compared to last year's squad. Rafa Benitez has been spending wisely. Hopefully Liverpool can win their FIRST English Premier League title. Blackburn Rovers could do it, in 1995, so Liverpool's turn should be soon. Hopefully this seasons it!
