Common Test
Friday, July 28, 2006
Its the common test week again, feels so fast isn't it? Anyway this week just going to try not to use the computer much. Have to study for my weaker subjects, Science, Geography (weak?). That's what I think. English can't really study, just read a few things that all. Just came home after some 3v4 soccer at the Primary basketball court. Yes 3v
4. However I wasn't in the
four team. We played with a man less, which was still kinda okay. Played after iMedia, which watched some interesting short films.
Headache's bugging again. Blogg again next week, hopefully I can relax then. Won't be killed by the stress of common test, especially the
science one.

Bad Week!
Friday, July 21, 2006
What a bad week I had. It was filled of events, and mostly not very good ones. One of the days was the stand-out day.
It does not pay to lend a listening ear to anybody,
ANYBODY! I found that out on Wednesday. I allowed my classmate to pour his sorrow of his D&T group members that they were slacking and stuff. I just said
aiya relax lah. Then during the next lesson he kept hitting me. I
ren and just moved away. During soccer he continued whacking me....
I had my right leg swollen after soccer. I currently cannot walk properly or at the same speed as normally. Its healing gradually and now its the weekend it should be fine soon enough.
Today had a English compo test on, the topic is Secret. I always had a story in my head but not on the topic Secret. I changed it a little bit to suit my topic on Secret. Science test...
sigh...studied the night before and hope both tests get good grades!
Now no more World Cup I hope can get to English Premier League (EPL) action soon!

CHMA 2006
Friday, July 14, 2006
What a night... CHMA 2006. So many people came to watch. I think it was all worthwhile. Everything was done properly and it was a complete success. I just didn't like the people going in and out of the hall when the performers are performing, bit
rude? Then there's those people selling drinks outside and trying to get in which was quite irritating.

The design on stage was very nice and complemented by the professional lightings. It seemed to just change colour when it still remained the same.
The chairs that were arranged so nicely...Were messed up when the audience just came rushing in, making themselves comfortable and moving the chairs around.
Well I managed to get hold of a new ticket that was reserved and was claimed,
lucky right...

Italy Champions
Monday, July 10, 2006
Italy won the World Cup. They scored 5 penalties out of 5 surprisingly as they had always lost all their penalty-shootouts. Zinedane Zidane headbutt damn
zhai. Hit right in the chest of Inter's Marco Materazzi. Who'd ever believe that Zidane would do such a thing? LOL! I loved his 7minuted penalty. Some say its
zhai some say its
tyco. Audacious chip, it hit the post and cross the goal line but it spinned back up towards the crossbar again and out. Buffon catches it but the referee gives the goal, correctly. Materazzi headed an equaliser after a
pro Andreas Pirlo corner. No goalkeeper managed to save a penalty in the shootout. Only David Trezeguet missed his as it hit the post, not bouncing across the goalline. Unfortunately...
Oh yeah I just read what happened to Zinedane Zidane and Marco Materazzi. If those words that Materazzi was true. I'd bet that Zidane should have just stab him instead of just using his bald head. Materazzi is too much anyway. Check it out
HEREGermany's Bastian Schweinsteiger brought the delight back to the Germans after their 2-0 lost to Italy. They claimed Third Place ahead of Portugal. Schweinsteiger scored 2 magnificent
solo and long range efforts and "assisted". He hit the free kick so hard it hit Portugal's Petit and into the net. Oliver Kahn could not get a last clean sheet. Nuno Gomes headed a consolation.

World Cup Finals
Friday, July 07, 2006
Well, I think all football fans must be feeling really
sian. The World Cup's going to end soon! A year or two of anticipating wait and after a month its finished, another four years we wait. Well its Italy vs France for the ultimate glory. Its going to be like the Euro 2000 finals, but will France triumph again? France should be credited for their comeback after a boring group stages. Italy, however, have stormed their way to the finals. I should credit them for not just sitting back waiting for a penalty shoot-out in the Semis against the Germans, they went for it and ultimately got what they deserve. France will look back at that 3-1 unlikely victory over Spain as the turning point of their World Cup campaign. The host have finally been knocked out.
Germany will play
Portugal in the
Third/Fourth Placing. Both have nothing to lose, but will play for their pride.
~Final 2 Countries~France vs ItalyFrance have finally gelled together after a poor group stages. Thierry Henry should lead the line with Zinedane Zidane right behind him. Claude Makelele will babysit the back-four. Franck Ribery and Florent Malouda will cause the Italian defence some problems down the flanks.
Italy have the best goalkeeper in the world, Gianlugi Buffon in their ranks. However their star defender Alessandro Nesta is out, with Marco Materazzi covering with Fabio Cannavaro. Francesco Totti will be the playmaker for Italy. Andreas Pirlo will be tempted to shoot often with Gennaro Gattuso pulling the strings in midfield.

New World Champions
Sunday, July 02, 2006
Well, Brazil is finally knocked out of the World Cup, by a French team that have found their form at such a crucial stage of the competition. Thierry Henry scored the winning goal. They didn't play Adriano and played a 4-5-1 formation to accomodate Juninho. Ronaldo was left up front by himself, which was a very bad decision as he has lost some of his pace. The change of tactics and formation could have been why Brazil lost to France, again. England had the game under control until Wayne Rooney was sent off, but they still managed to bomb forward with Peter Crouch their target man. Lampard had two glorious chances but missed both, again. Aaron Lennon could have gotten a penalty but not given. Owen Hargreaves was the best player for England that day. It went to penalty shootout. Frank Lampard could not even score, again. Hargreaves slotted it in. Gerrard and Carragher's miss meant that Cristiano Ronaldo's penalty was the decisive one, which he converted easily. England lose on penalties, again.
There will be a new World Champion, and it is going to be a European nation.
~Last 4 Countries~Germany vs Italy
Germany have home crowd advantage. Their front pairing of Miroslav Klose and Lukas Podolski will give the pro Italian defence some problems. The attacking triangle of Luca Toni, Alberto Gilardinho and Francesco Totti will give the defensive triangle of Torsten Frings, Christoph Metzelder and Per Mertesacker lots of problem. The game should be won in the midfield. If Michael Ballack, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Bernd Schneider can hold off the Italian midfield of Andreas Pirlo, Gennaro Gattuso and Mauro Camoranesi, then the Germans will triumph.
Portugal vs France
Both team will go into this game full of confidence. Portugal managed to pull off a penalty shootout victory over favourites England. France's only goal managed to kill off Brazil, courtesy of Thierry Henry. Portugal played the England game without Costinha and Deco, and now they'll have them back, rested and ready. Both teams will definitely use their flanks for their attacks. Florent Malouda, Franck Ribery or Sylvain Wiltord, Eric Abidal and Willy Sagnol are the flankers for France. Portugal's flankers are Cristiano Ronaldo, Luis Figo or Simao, Miguel and Nuno Valente. Whoever has the upper hand on the flanks will surely win the game.
